Simon Templar, alias The Saint (George Sanders), is tipped off by British Intelligence when a shady London financier appears to be doing deals with a foreign power. A million pounds in untraceable foreign currency is a sum of money men are willing to kill for - and a prominent European count has gone missing.
Aided by small time American hood Dugan (David Burns) and the beautiful Penny Parker (Sally Gray), The Saint resorts to some distinctively unorthodox activities to get to the heart of the mystery - even if it means clashing with his old adversary, Inspector Claud Teal of Scotland Yard (Gordon McLeod). Before long, the bullets are flying, Penny is in dire danger - and everything may depend upon the lethal ace that the Saint always keeps up his sleeve...
George Sanders dons his halo again as he hops to London for some more battling against the criminal element and has a couple of people, American ex-hood called Dugan and Penny Parker, to help him - the latter has a very good chemistry with Sanders. It's a fun entry with plenty of thrills and danger.
