Mouse (2021)
8/10
An unrealistic and convulated series...but I liked it
30 December 2024
I can not do anything but admit that you have to leave your brain at the door with some things which happened in this show, but as a reward you get a series which genuinely can surprise and shock you; multiple times during its run.

I just finished the long (twenty 1+ hour episodes plus the specials) journey that is Mouse. And what a ride it was. Yes, there's some of that Korean overacting. Yes, some things which happened made no sense. Couldn't that person say something during a certain live broadcast which would have resulted in this show ending right there and then? Yes, yes and yes.

But ohmygawd was I clicking on the next episode button as fast as I could because I wanted to know what was going to happen next.

Plot twists, violence, good characters you can feel sympathy for, good characters you want to hate, impossible love, family values, animal cruelty, death death and death. This show just has it all.

It's not really a series you can watch without it having your attention. Because a lot of characters and scenarios get introduced, and as all the stories come together even the mindfull watcher has to backtrack to check who was who again.

But damn, I really liked it. Recommend it; with the above addendums.
