... because in spite of many, many funny moments, and Lisa Kudrow's truly amazing acting abilities, this is very painful to watch. It's not painful because it's bad, it's just painful because it's so cringe worthy. I know that cringe has become the thing in 2024, nearly 20 years later, but that doesn't make it a bit easier to watch. It's just sad, embarrassing, and painful. I wanted just one single happy moment. Couldn't there just be one? Even her winning moment at the end did not make you root for her or for anybody else I'm not really even sure why I kept watching it. It just makes me very sad.
