Carrie Cathrae-Keeling was born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Originally a stage actress, her first film role was a background performer in The Hexecutioners, a film by Foresight Features. Her art background and her own small business helped her delve into behind the scenes for Collingwood Film Co as an art director, costume designer and co-producer. She splits her time between her art, preforming on stage, on screen and behind the scenes for both theatre and film.
