The cinematography in a sense can be compared to creativity. It is something that comes from inside you, that you cannot extinguish, stop or tell it to goes away. It is an expression of our emotions and action, the process of creating the images that are beautiful, provocative, new, fresh and they are telling the story in the way that never was told before. Cinematographer is a visual storyteller who speaks by light and shadows. When you will start to explore this two simple things, you cannot stop. The light is a particle and wave, but also the absence of dark, something to create the shadows. For the cinematographer it can be the best friend and in the same time his biggest enemy. It can works against you and for you. It is like a painting for the artists, a form of expression and storytelling. The cinematographer is also the eye of the director and someone who can tell the story visually, someone who is building the characters by using different camera angles and the compositions. When you are making a film, every frame of the film should be a perfect picture. It is like photography but 24 frames per second. This is cinematography for me and that's why I love it.
