Chicago Fire actor Daniel Kyri was hospitalized over the weekend and shared a photo from his hospital bed.

Daniel plays firefighter Darren Ritter on the One Chicago shows. After some shuffling at the firehouse, the character recently joined Truck 81.

Daniel shared a surprising post on Tuesday, revealing he has been hospitalized for several days. He popped up on social media to urge people to vote.

“I was hospitalized Sunday Initially planned to vote yesterday but spent the day in the ICU. I wanted to vote in this election,” Daniel wrote.

Pride Live, a social advocacy and community engagement organization for the LGBTQ+ community, today announced Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Kesha as the headline performer for Stonewall Day 2022.

The legendary Pride event will take place on Friday, June 24, outside of the Stonewall Inn in New York City. Launched in 2018, Stonewall Day is a national day of awareness to commemorate the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots.

“I am so honored to be a part of this historic event,” said Kesha. “As a forever advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, I’m excited to embark on this monumental occasion with my friends at Pride Live and perform for Stonewall Day. Exclusive: Emmy nominee Kate Mulgrew (Orange Is the New Black) is set for a recurring role on Showtime’s upcoming anthology series The First Lady (wt). Additionally, Oscar winner Cathy Schulman (Crash) has been named showrunner of the series starring Viola Davis, who also executive produces, Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson. “To be clear, Damon did Not die,” showrunner Steven Canals says

Season 3 of “Pose” is streaming now on FX, and fans may notice a familiar face is somewhat absent — Damon, played by Ryan Jamaal Swain, isn’t around much in the final season.

Damon is featured in the first couple episodes of the season, at a watch party for the the O.J. Simpson car chase and giving Pray Tell a book on alcoholism, revealing that he’d previously spent time in Alcoholics Anonymous. But by the end of the second episode, Damon is pretty much a ghost, leaving fans to speculate where he disappeared to.

During the party, Damon and Pray Tell (Billy Porter) share a moment as they discuss alcohol addiction. Damon eventually reveals that he has also suffered from addiction as he shows Pray Tell a book from Alcoholics Anonymous. However, by the second episode, Damon is completely Mia. It isn't until the end of the episode, that we learn from Blanca (Mj Rodriguez) that Damon relapsed from alcoholism and moved to be with a cousin in Charleston, Sc.

FX Networks has released the official trailer for “Pose” Season 3, the trailblazing trans TV series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals. Since its premiere in 2018, “Pose” has been glamor-kicking down doors previously welded closed, and from the looks of this debut trailer, the team shows no sign of slowing down. The cabler on Friday announced that the beloved series will wrap with a truncated third season.

The third season is set to premiere Sunday, May 2 at 10/9c, with the series finale set to air June 6.

“Pose has been one of the creative highlights of my entire career,” says co-creator Ryan Murphy of the decision to end it.

FX’s award-winning series “Pose” is planning to return to production in October.

While the situation remains fluid, a member of the “Pose” crew is getting tested for Covid-19 this week in anticipation of the show starting to film next month, a source tells Variety. Production on season 3 was halted in March, due to the coronavirus outbreak in New York City and across the country.

“When production paused, I wasn’t shocked — I knew it would happen — but it was a bittersweet moment for me,” star Indya Moore told Variety in June. “On the one hand, if anyone had gotten sick, it surely would have spread fast. On the other hand, most folks working on a production are living paycheck to paycheck. So I was worried about how they are going to survive.”

Disney Television Studios declined to comment.

In entering into the world of FX’s “Pose,” one steps onto the gritty streets of 1980s and 1990s New York City, where characters are losing loved ones to HIV/AIDS — and at the same time attending colorful, vibrant balls that allow for a creative outlet and safe space for those who identify as LGBTQ. These are two very distinct settings, but they must have the same tone. That is why showrunner Steven Canals doesn’t actually separate the worlds — or the scenes set in them — when he writes the episodes.

“Ball scenes are either there to aid in pushing the narrative forward or serve as a reprieve from all of the drama,” Canals says. “But the tone of any ball scene is pretty much in line with the theme of that particular episode.”

The program seeks to raise awareness for three organizations that work to support LGBTQ+ education, social change for sexual and gender minority people of color, and transgender equality through legal services and policy efforts.

The special event will encourage viewers to support three of the many charitable LGBTQ+ organizations: Glsen, Hetrick-Martin Institute, and Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund.

The secretive “Thrones” prequel pilot has just wrapped shooting in Belfast. During HBO’s TCA summer press tour in Los Angeles, president of programming Casey Bloys hailed the pilot, proclaiming that it contains “amazing” footage.

On the heels of its Season 2 premiere, FX has given an early third season renewal to its groundbreaking drama series Pose, from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals, Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.

The June 11 season two premiere of Pose was the series’ most watched episode, drawing 1.2 million total viewers and 572,00 adults 18-49, generating series high ratings in viewers, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key women demos. The season two premiere telecast outperformed the series premiere episode by +10% in A18-49 and +7% in total viewers. In all, the premiere telecast, two encores and streaming have delivered 1.8 million total viewers in the first five days. Pose joins American Horror Story, Sons of Anarchy, Nip/Tuck and The Shield as FX drama series that outperformed their series premiere telecast.

The Season 3 pickup comes just under a week after the Ryan Murphy-created drama aired its second season premiere on June 11, the series’ most-watched episode to date. The Season 2 premiere telecast scored 1.2 million total viewers and 572,000 in the adults 18-49 range. The episode outperformed the “Pose” series premiere by 10% in the key 18-49 demo and 7% in overall eyeballs.

In total, the “Pose” Season 2 premiere, titled “Acting Up” has racked up 1.8 million viewers in the five days since it aired, when counting the initial telecast, plus two encores and streaming.

Updated, 11:15 Am: FX said today that Season 2 of Ryan Murphy’s Pose will premiere on Tuesday, June 11 — two days later than originally announced. The network didn’t cite a reason for moving the return date but said the series that aired on Sundays during its rookie season will move to Tuesdays for S2. It’s notable that HBO last week set the Season 2 premiere of its Emmy-winning drama Big Little Lies for Sunday, June 9 — the date that FX had set on April 8 for Pose‘s return.

Previously, April 8: The ballroom is nearly ready to reopen. FX said today that its Ryan Murphy drama series Pose will return for Season 2 at 9 p.m. Sunday, June 9.

The show explores the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society: the underground ball culture, the rise of the Trump-era luxury universe and the downtown social and literary scene that came to define New York in the 1980s.
