Taking the direct-to-digital route, the Yami Gautam Dhar-starrer film ‘Lost’ is all set to drop on Ott on February 16. The film, which also stars Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey in key roles, has been helmed by Aniruddha Roy Choudhury of ‘Pink’ fame.

Written by Shyamal Sengupta with dialogues by Ritesh Shah, ‘Lost’ is based in Kolkata and is inspired by true events. The film is an investigative thriller that tells the story of a bright young crime reporter in a relentless search for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a young theatre activist.

It further represents a higher quest, and search for lost values of empathy and integrity. The film had its screening at the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa, in November last year.

After getting a good response at 53rd International Film Festival of India, the Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directorial ‘Lost’ is all set to premiere on a digital medium. Yami Gautam, who plays a lead role in the film, spoke about ‘Lost’ and how she felt about the response the movie received at the festival.

Yami has worked in TV shows such as ‘Chaand Ke Paar Chalo’ and ‘Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam’, and later was seen in movies such as ‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.

She said: “‘Lost’ was a special experience for me, and I have been eagerly waiting to see how the audience is going to react. I absolutely cannot wait for the release.”

Mumbai, March 22 (Ians) Chhichhore was declared the Best Hindi Film at the 67th National Film Awards on Monday, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala dedicated the victory to late Sushant Singh Rajput, lead actor of the film.

"On behalf of Nge (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment), I dedicate this extremely prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We can't get over his loss ever but I sincerely pray that this award gives a little bit of happiness to his family and fans which includes me. And I am tremendously grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us all this very special movie," Said Sajid, in a statement released to the press.

Chhichhore had a theatrical release on September 6, 2019. Sushant died on June 14, 2020.

Tushar Pandey, the newbie in town is all set for his upcoming project ‘Hum Chaar’ under the prestigious banner of Rajshri Productions. The production house has been a pioneer in bringing fresh faces into the showbiz, and the actor seems overwhelmed to be a part of Rajshri family.
