Menuka Poudel, the visually-impaired contestant from the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 14’, who sang ‘Aye Ishq Tujhko Salaam’, is now roped in for ‘Karmaa Meets Kismet’, another project as a playback singer starring Sanjay Mishra.

New Delhi, Dec 7 (Ians) Google India on Wednesday revealed the most searched queries, events, personalities and much more in ‘Year in Search 2022’ results, in which the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ was the most searched movie in the country.
“If 2021 saw people taking their first guarded steps into a post-pandemic era, 2022 marked the year we bounced back stronger in many ways.” the tech giant said in a statement.
“Search helped people find a world of information, be it questions on everyday interests, new passions, or more intricate topics,” it added.
The Indian Premier League was the trending search topic in India, while queries of the T20 World Cup and Asia Cup peaked.
India also dominated global sports trends, taking the top five spots on the list of the most trending matches worldwide.

Kanpur, Aug 21 (Ians) Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been imposed in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh in view of a slight surge in coronavirus infections, various upcoming examinations and festivals, an official government spokesman said.
The restrictions, announced on Saturday evening, will be in place for a month.
Section 144 of the CrPC restricts the gathering of more than four to five people, the spokesman added.
Under the imposition, without the permission of the Police Commissioner, not more than five people will be able to gather in a public place or take out a procession.
However, people violating Section 144 will be punished under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
In June this year, Kanpur had witnessed violence during protests against objectionable statement made by former Bjp spokesperson Nupur Sharma against the Prophet.
