Shreekrishna Padhye

Shreekrishna is a writer director working in Los Angeles. Ever since he was a child he was enamored by stories of unusual incidents and the extraordinary. His mother used to tell him stories from the great epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana which instilled in him a curiosity for different cultures and stories. Shreekrishna wasn't exposed to films until he went to college to study engineering. While there he devoured many films from great directors, like Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Kishore Kumar, Steven Spielberg Spielberg and found his true calling. He ditched engineering and he wanted to become a filmmaker. He spent the next year in Cebu Philippines collaborating with other filmmakers at International Academy of Film of Television and directed 4 short films and worked on numerous others. A music video he shot there went viral in 2012 and currently has over 7.5 million views online. After graduating he still had a thirst for learning more and he moved to Los Angeles to further his education at the New York Film Academy. In three years he has collaborated with numerous other fellow filmmakers and worked on over 30 short films and commercials. He recently finished post production on the short film Misprision. The film has gone on to screened to at multiple festivals worldwide and was awarded Best Crime Drama (Short) at this years Five Continents International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Crime Drama at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto.
