The official website of AnimeJapan 2025 revealed the line-ups for its main stages on Jan 17, 2025.

This year’s event will feature four main stages—Red, Green, Blue, and the newly introduced White stage, hosting a total of 52 programs over two days.

An overview of the stages can be viewed below:

Red Stage & Green Stage: These are closed stages with designated seating. Attendees will need both an admission ticket and a stage viewing ticket to watch programs on these stages. Blue Stage & White Stage: These are open stages. The front-row seats for viewing will be designated seating, requiring both an admission ticket and a stage viewing ticket. However, free viewing areas are available at the back, though space is limited.

The Jujutsu Kaisen panel at Anime Expo 2024, which was attended by director Shota Goshozono, Itadori’s Va Junya Enoki and Mappa producer Keisuke Seshimo, had some interesting insights to offer fans about the upcoming anime adaptation of the series.

The panel confirmed that Goshozono will be returning to helm Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Arc (Season 3) at Mappa.

Additionally, when the director was asked about the scenes he is most excited to adapt, he mentioned Maki’s scenes from the Culling Game arc.

While there are many scenes he is eager to bring to the anime, Goshozono specifically highlighted Maki’s as his favorite.

He said there was many scenes he wanted to adapt in season 3, but Maki was his favorite.

The official website of the upcoming Black Butler: Public School Arc revealed a new promo video on Feb 16, 2024. The video reveals that the anime will start airing on April 13, 2024.

What’s Good: The quality of the animation is quite impressive and proves that Mappa is just working at the peak of its abilities.

What’s Bad: The story never manages to set up characters and stakes in the proper way. Thus, when the climax arrives, it feels hollow.

Loo Break: The second act is a perfect loo break as the plot meanders between different characters and struggles to get to the point.

The annual Anime! Anime! General Election has unveiled the winners of the “Most Recommended Male Voice Actor” of 2023 on Dec 29, 2023.

The survey period spanned from Nov 15, 2023, to Dec 15, 2023, during which over 3,000 anime fans participated. With a majority of female respondents, accounting for approximately 65%, with 35% being male, the survey captured the sentiments of a diverse audience ranging from those under 19 to individuals in their 40s.

Participants were asked to identify the voice actors who left a lasting impression, whether through their roles in various anime or their appearances in other forms of entertainment. The criteria ranged from the most active and impactful voice actor of the year to the one fans found themselves recommending the most.

Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya Incident arc is highly regarded as one of the best shonen arcs due to its nonstop action and high-quality fights, but it's still not flawless. The anime adaptation of the arc did a great job overall, but one early fight involving Yuji is essentially pure filler and takes away from the more important clash involving Gojo. Despite this initial flaw, Studio Mappa made up for it by giving proper care and attention to the rest of the fights in the arc, showcasing their ability to elevate the source material in the anime.

Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya Incident arc is widely considered to be one of the best arcs in Shonen manga for good reason. However, while the anime adaptation has done a great job bringing it to screen, one early fight in the arc doesn't live up to the high standard the show has set for its battles.
