For his role as JJ DiMeo in Speechless, Micah was cast purely on the basis of audition videos. He never met or spoke to the producers prior to being cast as JJ.
His very first acting appearance on television was as background in a Blue's Clues episode. He also did two episodes as background on Sesame Street.
Began his acting by appearing in local theater productions with his sister Kelsey Fowler who went on to perform on Broadway.
