Chase Watson was born in Florida. He grew up riding motorcycles and 3 wheelers in Florida's beaches and sand dunes. A friend showed Chase the famous Rock Album from Meatloaf with the Motorcycle Artwork on the cover. Soon after Chase was listening to Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Queen. He bought a Fender Stratocaster after watching the Edge play at Red Rocks. Soon after a Bass with a Huge Amp and Speaker that took up most of the Bedroom.
Chase started a high school band with his Asian friend called THE PHAZE and played a nursing home and a friends Garage and even one event for the school.
Chase's mother insisted that he take guitar lessons and the guitar teacher showed him how to play most of ERUPTION from Eddie Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix song PURPLE HAZE. He also took lessons to play the Piano.
Although Chase loved racing motorcycles and 3 Wheelers up and down the dirt roads close by to where he lived, one day as he was flying down a road at full throttle he started thinking that he should move to New York or California and maybe get into a Rock Band. He flipped a coin and it landed on California. He soon packed up his car and drove cross country to California.
He needed a job and heard that you can get paid to be a stand-in on a movie set. He soon after got a call to audition to be Alex Winter stand-in for the at the time currently titled movie BILL AND TED GO TO HELL, it started with 7 guys auditioning and got down to 2, a coin was flipped to decide by the 2nd AD - Chase yelled out Heads! And soon after Chase was working on the set as Alex Winter stand-in.
There was a lot of important people on this big set so Chase had to act like he knew what he was doing when actually he had no idea and didn't even know who the actors where. Chase would only briefly talk too at first so that he wouldn't hilariously give away the fact that the only thing he knew was how to show up on set on time hit the X mark in front of the camera and then goto lunch. If only they knew! A few times Keanu or Alex would start talking to Chase and he would only mumble out a few words in response, he really didn't know how a movie set worked. He was a rookie to the business
By the end of the film Chase Knew everyone on set and got to be good friends with them. He would talk with the producers and the Director who liked Chase so much for his help during filming that he gave Chase a part in the film which became his SAG Card and the start of his Hollywood Journey.
Chase has an uncanny ability to meet celebrities and become friends with them. "I just have a normal conversation with them and treat them fairly". He finds it very hard to even ask for a picture with them or an autograph.
Soon after Bill n Ted Bogus Journey, Chase got hired to work on CHARLIE CHAPLIN (Directed by Oscar winner Sir Richard Attenborough). He was Robert Downey Jr stand-in
He has also worked behind the scenes in production on PROMETHEUS, GI JOE, THE AVENGERS and SPACE JAM amongst other films
Chase is half American Indian (Cherokee) on both my mother and fathers side
His life is very Spiritual
