After earning an economics degree from Kocaeli University and subsequently studying drama at Istanbul's Mujdat Wandering Art Center, he became a successful Turkish club and radio DJ.
Most well known for his portrayal of Ilyas Avci in the Turkish television series Al Yazmalim (The Girl with the Red Scarf), he is also notable for his work on the shows Gunahkar, Bir Ask Hikayesi and Magnificent Century.
He is a contemporary of fellow Turkish television actor Kerem Bursin.
