Andrew Stirling MacDonald began composing music for live theatre in 1999. In 2002, he began collaborating with director Jesse Kalavoda. Together they produced an independent feature ("The Perfection Across 23rd Street"), a sketch/web comedy series (The Pippens"), a web series ("Exile"), and several other projects.
After a long hiatus, Andrew returned to filmmaking in 2023. Together with long-time collaborators Jesse Kalavoda, Marvin Day, and Jeff Harvey, Andrew created a new production company, Jarden Films.
