Lady Gaga is sitting down for yet another fun interview!

Fresh off the release of her new album Mayhem, the 38-year-old “Vanish Into You” singer appeared on iHeartRadio’s Las Culturistas podcast for an interview that was released on Wednesday (March 12).

During her appearance, Gaga chatted with hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers about how fiancé Michael Polansky makes her feel seen, being embraced by the Lgbtqia+ community, the importance of her song “Shallow,” and so much more.

Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang won the podcast of the year award at the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards.

The interview and culture podcast saw the two hosts welcome a number of starry guests over the past year, including Ariana Grande, Charl Xcx, Dua Lipa and more. This week, Lady Gaga has been announced as the guest. The podcast also won the coveted award in 2023.

Planet Money took home the award for best business podcast, while The World’s First Podcast with Erin & Sara Foster won best pop culture podcast. Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus won best advice/inspirational podcast. Mel Robbins of The Mel Robbins Podcast won for best overall host.

The ceremony was held Monday night in Austin, Tex. at Acl Live at The Moody Theater, hosted by Jack O’Brien and Miles Gray of The Daily Zeitgeist podcast.

Las Culturistas at the Oscars!

Bowen Yang brought his Bff and podcast co-host Matt Rogers as his date to the 2025 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Wicked is nominated for 10 awards at the Oscars tonight, including Best Picture.

Bowen and Matt met as students at New York University and went on to launch their podcast Las Culturistas in 2016. Last year, they won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Podcast. The friends also starred together in the 2022 rom-com Fire Island, which is streaming on Hulu.

The Oscars will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien for the first time and the show is airing live on ABC and Hulu. The movie Emilia Perez leads the nominations with 13 nods, followed by The Brutalist and Wicked with 10 each. NBC’s 50th anniversary special for “Saturday Night Live” hit a very strong 14.8 million viewers on average across NBC and Peacock on Sunday night.

That number is 202% above the average number of viewers who have tuned into each regular episode of “SNL” throughout its 50th season, which is 4.9 million — itself a 13% improvement on last season’s same-day viewership. And among the key adults 18-49 demographic, the special scored a 2.5 rating.

According to NBC, this is the network’s most-watched primetime entertainment telecast (meaning non-sports and non-news) in five years, since the 2020 Golden Globes Awards, as well as the fourth-most-watched entertainment telecast of all time on Peacock, only coming behind three Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade telecasts.

Additionally, it can be expected that viewership for “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” will grow significantly in delayed viewing on Peacock and other digital platforms: Accounting for seven days of delayed viewing, “SNL” Season 50’s viewership average is 8.4 million,...

Per NBC, SNL50 was the most-watched entertainment simulcast on Peacock, also behind only three telecasts of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

“SNL50” closed out its celebratory weekend with an impressive audience.

The three-hour “SNL” anniversary celebration brought in 14.8 million viewers across NBC and Peacock and scored a 2.53 rating in the 18-49 demo, according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day viewing figures and internal streaming data. Viewership is expected to keep growing as fans catch up over the coming days.

Among both total viewers and demo viewers, “SNL50” ranks as NBC’s most-watched primetime entertainment telecast five years, since NBC broadcasted the 2020 Golden Globes. The telecast also became Peacock’s most-watched entertainment simulcast, though was still outpaced by three telecasts of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

For comparison, viewership for “SNL50” nearly rivaled that of the 2025 Grammys, which brought in 15.4 million viewers in February, and outpaced viewership for the 2025 Golden Globes, which scored 10.1 million viewers in January.

It was a massively star-studded affair at the SNL50: The Anniversary Special on Sunday evening (February 16) held at Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Saturday Night Live celebrated it’s 50th anniversary with hundreds of stars who have appeared on the show over the years.

The Stay in LA campaign, a call to keep more production in the city, has hit 20,000 signatures with high-profile stars including Andy Garcia and Marisa Tomei joining the call alongside filmmakers including Jonathan Nolan and Paul Feig.

This comes after a week of awards season events where the likes of Hacks co-creator Paul W. Downs and DGA President Lesli Linka Glatter stumped for the campaign at high-profile shindigs.

As Hacks, which shoots in locations including Altadena, won best comedy series at the Critics Choice Awards, Downs said that “we need to ask to shoot our shows in LA” and the “people in the room have the power to make it happen”, while Linka Glatter, who lost her home in the wildfires, urged directors to “insist that your projects are shot where they are set”.

After a slight postponement, the Oscars will get back on track on Thursday when Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott announce the nominees for the 97th Academy Awards.

Starting at 5:30 a.m. Pst, the “Wicked” actor and the “Bottoms” actress will reveal the nominees for all 23 categories via livestream and on social media. The nominations were originally supposed to be read on Jan. 17, but were postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Final voting will begin on Feb. 11 through Feb. 18. Conan O’Brien will then host (for the first time) on March 2. Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan are producing.

In addition to postponing the initial nominations announcement, the 2025 Oscar Nominees Luncheon has been canceled altogether, per the AMPAS.

Yang is known for his work on “Saturday Night Live” as well as his “Las Culturistas” podcast with Matt Rogers, while Sennott has starred in “Shiva Baby,” “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” “I Used to Be Funny” and “Saturday Night.

Normal Gossip, Call Her Daddy and Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang are among the titles in contention for the podcast of the year at the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards.

If there’s one pair that viewers have come to love for New Year’s Eve shenanigans, it’s Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. And yes, the two will be reuniting to ring in 2025.

For the last six years, the duo has hosted “CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live,” most often going viral for drunken moments on air as the night goes on. In 2022, then-cnn head Chris Licht announced that on-air personnel wouldn’t be allowed to drink during the network’s programming, with the logic being that on-camera drinking damaged the credibility of reporters in the eyes of viewers.

I Can’t Believe This Is Happening Again could have been a good title for Liz Feldman’s Dead to Me, a murky comedy about female friendship and murder that managed to take a tenuously thin premise and elongate it over three seasons by virtue of wild and sometimes illogical pivots, plus the truly exceptional work from stars Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. It was an exhaustingly paced show and, by its series finale, it put you through an emotional ringer as well. But if you had the patience for Feldman’s dogged approach, it was rewarding.

The housing market really is that scary. Netflix’s first full-length trailer for No Good Deed features Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as a Los Angeles couple struggling to hide a potentially deadly secret beneath a plot of prime real estate.

The dark comedy, set for release next month, follows a hodgepodge of families interested in buying Kudrow and Romano’s house, a “1920s Spanish-style villa located in one the most desirable neighborhoods in Los Angeles,” per the press release.

The singer stars in the new movie adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked as Glinda and has been on an extensive press tour before the late November release date.

Ariana recently shared that she got advice from Kristin Chenoweth, who originated the role of Glinda in the first Broadway production of Wicked in 2003.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Ariana said Kristin loved the idea and said, “She was like, ‘Just do your thing. Just do your thing. You are so funny and you have great instincts and no one knows that.'”
