The Neon Demon‘s original soundtrack will be pressed on vinyl on March 7 via Real Gone Music.

In addition to the score composed by Cliff Martinez, it includes the extended version of Julian Winding’s “Demon Dance” plus tracks by Sweet Tempest and Sia.

The 2xLP album is housed in a gatefold jacket with full-color inner sleeves.

Two color variants are available. A pink with blue and purple splatter edition is limited to 900 for $54.99, while Real Gone’s exclusive red and blue color-in-color variant is limited to 100 for $74.99.

Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, the 2016 psychological horror film stars Elle Fanning, Karl Glusman, Jena Malone, Bella Heathcote, Abbey Lee, Desmond Harrington, Christina Hendricks, and Keanu Reeves.

Following his exit from Yellowstone, Kevin Costner moved on to a different Western project, which premiered in 2024 but is now available on streaming. The film, which is the opening salvo of a planned four-film franchise, explores the lure of the Old West and how it was won—and lost—through the blood, sweat and tears of many. The story spans the four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865.

The first chapter in the former Yellowstone star’s film saga will release on Max on Aug. 23.

Following the film disappointing at the box office — Chapter 1, which runs three hours and one minute, opened to just $11 million over the June 28-30 weekend — Costner’s Territory Pictures and distribution partner New Line Cinema decided to pause on releasing Horizon: Chapter 2. The second installment was pulled from a planned Aug. 16 theater release in order to give audiences the opportunity to discover the first installment on PVOD and Max.

Chapter 1 debuted in the home on Premium VOD July 16 while it remained in theaters, but at that time, a Max date had not been announced. The switch-up in what was an ambitious release plan was in hopes of allowing more time to grow the audience, as the first film sports a $100 million price tag.

The first installment of his western series, which he starred in, co-directed, co-wrote, produced and co-financed, details the life of several characters in the American West during and after the Civil War. Costner planned for the “Horizon” saga to span four movies, the first two of which were shot back to back, but after the first film’s box office disaster it’s unclear how the series will continue.

The second movie in the “Horizon” franchise was pulled from its Aug. 16 theatrical release date, after the first film earned only $11 million at the box office its opening weekend despite its approximately $100 million dollar budget. Costner stated that he spent $38 million of his own money to finance the film.

Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1, the first installment of an ambitious Civil War epic from Kevin Costner, has been set to begin streaming exclusively on Max on Friday, August 23.

The film hits streaming following its Cannes premiere and June 28 theatrical debut, which was regarded as a misfire for a big-budget title, at a gross of just over $34 million. Not only did it result in the best Mad Max movie, but this 2015 sequel was one of the best action movies of the decade, period. While developing Fury Road, Miller developed two prequel stories alongside it. One followed Max and is dubbed The Wasteland, while Furiosa detailed the origin of Charlize Theron's Imperator.

Chapter 2 of Kevin Costner’s Western epic Horizon: An American Saga won’t be released in August after all.

Nobody can accuse Kevin Costner of being lazy. He has financed, produced, co-written, directed and co–starred in Horizon: An American Saga, which was conceived as a four film series, each one pushing the three hour mark.

Chapter 1 was released in the UK last month, and the plan was to release Chapter 2 in August.

However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the second film has been pulled from the release schedule. The reason given is the lacklustre box office reciepts for the first film, which took $20 million against a budget of $100 million.

It seems the plan is to encourage people to discover Horizon at home, so anticipation can build for the second film.

Horizon: An American Saga's VOD release date has now been revealed. Kevin Costner's Western passion project hit theaters at the end of June, bringing to life a saga that charts an epic journey West in the years before and after the Civil War. Though the first film has struggled to make a mark in theaters, Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 2 releases in August, with Costner once again serving as writer, producer, director, and star.

A new listing on Prime Video now reveals that Horizon: An American Saga comes to VOD on July 15, 2024. This means that the movie will be available to watch at home weeks before the sequel hits theaters on August 16.
