Wolf Like Me returns for its second season on Peacock later this month, and the streaming service has released a new trailer teasing what is ahead for Mary and Gary. Abe Forsythe is the romantic dramedy's creator, writer, and director.

The second season of Peacock’s Wolf Life Me romantic dramedy has a pregnant Mary, played by Wedding Crasher’s Isla Fisher, giving birth to a possible werewolf pup baby as her twisted romance with an eternally vulnerable Gary (Josh Gad) continues.

The trailer for the new season dropped Wednesday.

And that’s not the only question, among Mary’s many secrets, looming over the season two. Her former professor Anton, played by Edgar Ramirez, arrives on the scene and it’s not long before he makes a move on Mary.

Seven new episodes have been ordered.

Josh Gad and Isla Fisher will return as the leads, and there's a new face in the mix.

Edgar Ramirez has joined the cast as Mary's former professor, Anton.

The exciting announcement means the actor will be pulling double duty on Peacock as he will also be headlining the long-gestating Dr. Death Season 2.

"In the second season of 'Wolf Like Me,' Mary and Gary leap into the next phase of their relationship and face their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy," the exciting synopsis teases.

"As much as they try to have a 'normal' pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions looming over them."
