Andrew Walker plays an American archeologist named Austen who is working on a dig in Malta in For Love and Honey. (The movie was filmed on location in the Mediterranean island nation.) Margaret Clunie plays a local beekeeper named Eva who has taken over running her family’s apiary. Together, they discover a hidden hive that might hold the clues to an archaeological mystery. Eva draws on her knowledge of the area to help Austen investigate the find, and the two begin to fall in love.

Hallmark is treating viewers to a virtual European vacation by releasing four movies in its Passport to Love programming event.

Plot: The Passport To Love movie event starts with For Love & Honey which was shot on location in beautiful Malta. The movie tells the story of Eva, a beekeeper who uncovers an ancient fresco while rescuing a hive.

Hallmark is taking their viewers on a romantic European vacation this June with their Passport To Love movies. These four movies will take viewers to Malta, Paris, Greece, and Italy. Moreover, some fan favorites star in these movies including Andrew Walker, Bethany Joy Lenz, and Hunter King.

Hallmark has announced a new, original movie, For Love and Honey, starring Andrew Walker and Margaret Clunie.

Filmed on location in Malta, the movie airs as part of the network’s Passport to Love programming event. Read on to learn about the plot of the movie and its cast, see beautiful images taken on the set and a trailer.

According to the official synopsis, Austen (Walker) is an American archeologist following a lead in Malta, while hoping to secure a project that will guarantee his tenure. Meanwhile, Eva (Clunie) is a local Maltese beekeeper, following in her late mother’s footsteps in running her family’s apiary.

Hallmark is headed to Malta in the first movie in the Passport To Love series. What is this new movie about? According to the Hallmark synopsis, American archeologist Austen has arrived in Malta. He is there because he has a theory that could “guarantee his tenure.” Now, Austen must gather the evidence to prove his theory.

Meanwhile, Eva is a local. Eva runs the family’s apiary. Bees were her mother’s passion, and Eva is equally passionate about them.

Hallmark is heading to Europe in June with a selection of rom-coms featuring delicious food with a side of mystery.

As most fans know, Hallmark loves to travel the world for their latest movie releases. This time around, a series of rom-coms feature Europe as a film set. One movie takes us to Malta, another to Paris, then it’s Greece, before closing off June new, original movies in Italy.

Besides the new rom-coms, Sleuthers will have a treat, too, with a new mystery movie coming in June on Hallmark Mystery. Read on to find out more about the selection of movies in June on Hallmark.

Hallmark is heading to Europe in June for some tasty romcoms that are all food related. What is not to like about eating your way through Malta with Andrew Walker, sampling cheese in Paris with One Tree Hill alum Bethany Joy Lenz, starting a restaurant in Greece with Danielle C. Ryan, or savoring some gelato in Italy with Young And The Restless alum Hunter King?

On the other hand, a new June Hallmark Mystery takes place in Detroit, Rock City. In Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 For Murder, Holland Roden is a sleuth, while When Calls The Heart heartthrob Chris McNally seems to be channeling his inner Pacino as a police detective.

Here are all the movies to look forward to seeing in the month of June.

The last twelve months have been big business for the movie musical with Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman among those packing audiences in. There’s a seasonal flavour to the latest in this burgeoning genre, with the music of George Michael and Wham! being the basis for Last Christmas. The film had its UK premiere this evening in London, and we were there to chat the cast and crew.

The film stars Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, Crazy Rich Asians’ Henry Golding, Emma Thompson (who co-wrote the film and screenplay along with Greg Wise and Bryony Kimmings), Michelle Yeoh, Lydia Leonard, Maxim Baldry, Patti LuPone and Margaret Clunie. The film was directed by Paul Feig and produced by David Livingstone.

No, youth of America, parmesan is not a vegan food item. But damn if that doesn’t stop Zosia Mamet from asking for them from a presumably beleaguered bodega owner in a very funny deleted scene from Danny Sangra’s “Goldbricks in Bloom.” Mamet toplines the feature, which smartly and sharply upbraids some of the worst bits of current millennial culture. Kale chips? Just the tip of the iceberg.

The film is Sangra’s feature debut, and is described as “a social satire that explores what it means to be an artist today by interweaving the story of a self-obsessed group of disenchanted young creatives with the mythic rise and fall of a New York painter.” Over the past six years, Sangra has made over 30 short films, a number of which feature interconnected characters and stories. “Goldbricks” mines that for more fun, as it pushes together some of his previous creations.

While “Girls” is set to air its final season sometime next year, main cast member Zosia Mamet has spent the past year appearing in films like Todd Solondz’s “Wiener-Dog” and Steve Bernstein’s “Dominion.” Now, she’s set to appear in the new film “Goldbricks in Bloom,” a social satire that explores what it means to be an artist today by interweaving the story of a self-obsessed group of disenchanted young creatives with the mythic rise and fall of a New York painter. For those of us in the U.K., however, it was actually followed by a TV miniseries, “A Young Doctor's Notebook,” about the experiences of a country doctor in revolutionary Russia. Jon Hamm played the older version of Daniel Radcliffe's young doctor, looking back on the experiences of his callow self.The show was a hit on its original U.K. channel, Sky Arts, and has been picked up in the U.S, by Ovation, which will air it in a couple of months (though they've yet to give a precise date). It has now also, per Deadline, been picked up for a second series, which will see the snow-bound doctor's tale (adapted from stories by Mikhail Bulgakov, of “The Master and Margarita...

Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe partnered up last year for A Young Doctor’s Notebook, which became the most successful programme in Sky Arts history.

It’s understandable, then, that the channel would want to bring the duo back for a second season, and now news arrives that Hamm and Radcliffe have officially signed on for a second series.

The original four-part mini-series was based on a collection of short stories by Mikhail Bulgakov, airing in December last year as part of Sky Arts’ Playhouse Presents series.

There’s no word yet on the exact length of the second series, but it wouldn’t be amiss to suspect that it will be at least another four episodes long, given the success of the first season.

The comedy-drama’s second series will return to the small village of Muryevo in 1918 to find the Young Doctor battling against an all-consuming morphine addiction.

Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm will both reprise their roles when the show - based on the works of playwright Mikhail Bulgakov - returns as part of the channel's Playhouse Presents strand.

Radcliffe plays the younger self of Hamm's Russian doctor in the series, which picks up in the small village of Muryevo in 1918 with the character battling a morphine addiction.
