Now that the fantasy romance movie, The Age of Adaline, is streaming on Netflix, it is the perfect time to dive into the talented cast of stars who made the 2015 film possible. The Age of Adaline follows a young woman named Adaline who has a fairly normal life in the early 20th century. However, following the tragic death of her husband, Adaline's life begins to fall apart, and she gets into a car accident that should end her life. By some miracle though, Adaline is saved by a lightning strike, and she stops aging completely.
Before trending on Netflix, The Age of Adaline premiered in April 2015 to somewhat mixed reviews. With a 55% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, many felt that the movie took itself too seriously and left too many logistical questions unanswered. Then again, reviewers also admitted that the film was full of touching, romantic moments that never felt overly sweet.

There's a half-serious observation in the Batman fandom that the best Batman actors are the ones who feel like they could also pull off playing the Joker. Take Michael Keaton; you know him as Tim Burton's Batman, but if you want to see him as the Joker, just watch the first movie that Keaton and Burton made together before "Batman" -- namely, "Beetlejuice."
Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson also feel like Dark Knights who could be convincing as the Crown Prince of Crime. Heck, even the late Adam West showed he had some Joker energy in him with his recurring role as the twisted Mayor West on "Family Guy."
There's only one performer who has actually played both Batman and the Joker at the same time, though: voice actor Troy Baker, in the 2019 animated film "Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Dinosaurs and Vietnam War jungle action are both on the agenda in the first footage from “Primitive War” released by producers Sparke Films. The survival thriller stars “Entourage” star Jeremy Piven, Tricia Helfer, Ryan Kwanten and Nick Wechsler.
Written and directed by Luke Sparke, “Primitive War” is adapted from the cult novel of the same name by Ethan Pettus. The story follows Vulture Squad, a recon team sent to a remote jungle valley in 1968 to locate a missing Green Beret platoon, only to find themselves face-to-face with prehistoric predators.
“Primitive War” was filmed on the Gold Coast, Australia, with a mostly local crew, sprawling sets and real jungle locations that add up to a raw, immersive experience.

Together, they’ll be playing US soldiers in 1968 who have been sent to a remote region of Vietnam. This is it, folks! It’s time to blow the dust off the fedora, oil the whip, and venture into the unknown one last time as we celebrate the end of an era with a look back at the fifth film in the Indiana Jones franchise, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny!
Unleashed 15 years after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and presented as Harrison Ford’s final performance as Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones Jr., Dial of Destiny finds a disillusioned Indy haunted by a villain from his past and pulled into a chase to recover the Antikythera, an Ancient Greek hand-powered orrery capable of predicting astronomical patterns and eclipses in advance. Commonly referred to as the first analog computer, the Antikythera is more than it seems in Dial of Destiny. In the film, the Antikythera can chart fissures in the fabric of space-time. Open...

Indiana Jones 5 explores themes of time travel, aging, and passing the torch to a new generation, with the de-aging technology used in the opening sequence setting the stage for these themes. James Mangold, the director of Indiana Jones 5, used de-aging technology to give viewers a taste of the younger Indiana Jones, allowing for exciting action sequences and a technological feat that is hard to be unimpressed with. Harrison Ford supported the use of de-aging in Indiana Jones 5, stating that the technology accurately portrayed his appearance from 35 years ago and that as long as it supports the story, de-aging can be an excellent tool for filmmakers.
The first appearance of Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 5 sees the titular character de-aged, looking like he did in the early films of the action-adventure franchise. Indiana Jones 5, or Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, is the 2023 installment of...

Armen Nahapetian wants the world to know: “I’m not AI.” The 16-year-old actor is gaining notice, but not only for playing a teenage version of Joaquin Phoenix’s titular worrywart in Ari Aster’s epic dark comedy “Beau Is Afraid.” He added the disclaimer to his Instagram bio because people keep thinking he’s not a real person, but instead a digitally de-aged Phoenix.
“I went to the movie theater a few weeks ago, and one of the employees was pointing at the poster saying, ‘Oh, my God, you’re real!’” Nahapetian recalls, speaking with Variety.
The main poster art features four versions of Beau, all posing in shimmering gray satin pajamas. There’s a Phoenix wearing a farmer’s hat, a Phoenix sporting male pattern baldness, a Phoenix buried under wrinkles — and a smooth-faced Nahapetian. The theater employee’s confusion may seem absurd, but the reasoning makes sense:...

Let’s for one moment forget about gameplay, lets take out of the equation graphics… In fact lets just forget about everything that has come before this episode of Telltales Batman: The Enemy Within and talk about the season finale story. We’ll cover the rest later!
For me personally this installment of Batman: The Enemy Within is one of the most intensely written and dramatic portrayed episodes of not only a Telltale game but pretty much any game ever. It’s up there with the best issues in Batman comic book history and actually feels like it could live and breathe on the big screen. There is a bit of everything from chaos, danger, romance, betrayal, fear and friendship.
Am I over-egging this review? Possibly, but when I say this episode of the game had me hooked from title card to end credits, well trust me I am not lying.

Villain or Vigilante? You, and the Joker, must choose. But that’s where the fun starts as Telltale Games ends the season with a bang!
Episode five, ‘Same Stitch,’ contains two separate storylines and two possible versions of The Joker, so each of these trailers focuses on a different potential experience. The choices players have made over the course of the season will determine which story — and which version of The Joker — they ultimately see in the finale.
Same Stitch launches Tuesday, March 27 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and mobile. A couple of weeks ago we posted up an article detailing the release of Telltale/Warner Bros Batman: The Enemy Within – Episode 4, which is now available for you all to go and get on all platforms. I myself had only played the first season and not really had a chance to get into the second. However I am a huge fan of these Telltale games, beginning way back when they released The Walking Dead.
Yes, I know they had a few efforts before The Walking Dead but for me this game was when the company really came into its own, crafting truly remarkable engaging stories, leaving the player with almost unimaginable choices to make and often breaking your heart with the repercussions. It’s safe to say I am a decision based gaming whore! Are these games always perfect? No they aren’t. Often glitchy, struggling with frame rates and audio not syncing with visual.

The idea of the "Star Wars" spinoff films was probably one of the best Disney could have had. Not only could they continue the Skywalker saga in the main episode films, but by creating the unrelated stories, they've effectively ensured the expansion of the "Star Wars" universe, and the longevity of an already evergreen franchise. All that aside, for its first couple spinoffs, Disney has opted to keep the stories relatively close to the main saga. The first film, "Rogue One," follows a band of rebels in their attempts to steal the plans for the original Death Star, and the second film is none other than a Han Solo spinoff.
With Harrison Ford as the original actor, whoever this new man is will have quite the shoes to fill. So who will be playing everyone's favorite scoundrel? We don't know just yet, but Variety has just revealed a shortlist for the character.

Anthony Ingruber made his feature film debut in last year’s romantic drama The Age Of Adaline, playing a younger version of Harrison Ford’s character to great effect. The results were astonishing – Ingruber’s rendition of Ford as a young man is eerily accurate, from the looks, to the voice, and everything in between. Hardly surprising though – he had scored the gig thanks to his notable impressions of Ford on YouTube, after all.
We caught up with Ingruber recently to discuss his uncanny resemblance to, and ability to emulate, one of the legends of cinema, and his experience working on The Age Of Adaline.
Bearing such a striking similarity to Harrison Ford, it’s no wonder that his name has come up during Disney’s search for a young Han Solo; the iconic character will be getting his own spinoff/prequel, scheduled for release sometime in 2018, and word...

Rosario Dawson, Hugh Jackman and Blake Lively lead our look at 2015's best under the radar acting performances in film...
This article contains mild spoilers for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. We've kept these as vague as possible, but if you haven't seen the film yet, you might wish to skip the entry pertaining to that.
2015 was a particularly exemplary year for all kinds of movies, but particularly in genre and blockbuster cinema. When there's so much to talk about, it's inevitable that some of the really good stuff gets lost in the mix of awards season chatter, but that's especially true when there's still some residual stigma about movies outside of the 'worthy' release schedule that will arrive in UK cinemas between now and the Academy Awards ceremony in February.
There are a couple of likely breakthrough geek movies for this year's Oscars, in the...

Lawrence Kasdan knows a thing or two about Star Wars. His first screenplay credit is for The Empire Strikes Back, and he's also written Return of the Jedi, the acclaimed video game Shadows of the Empire, and he co-wrote The Force Awakens with director J.J. Abrams. Kasdan's next project is a Han Solo standalone prequel movie he's co-writing with his son Jon that will be directed by 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
We know that Harrison Ford doesn't have anything to do with the Solo solo film (ha!), and Lucasfilm has apparently auditioned 2,500 people for the role in the 2018 movie. Casting is going to be incredibly important to this film because Ford's incarnation of Solo is such a beloved performance, so how does one even go about trying to figure out who can play a younger version of him? Disney have launched what is probably the biggest ever search for a single role in the history of Hollywood; the coveted lead of a young Han Solo in their planned Star Wars Anthology film.
The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that at least 2,500 actors are currently auditioning, either via tape or in person.
You can bet that with that number, every eligible, successful young actor (and some who aren’t) in the business is having a pop. The list of confirmed actors to be throwing their hat into the ring include Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Logan Lerman, Jack Reynor, Max Thieriot, Miles Teller, Nick Robinson, Tom Felton(!?) and even Mr. Robot’s Rami Malek.
Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are working with their 21 Jump Street casting director Jeanne McCarthy to find an ideal candidate, and as far as I’m concerned, I hope that The Age of Adaline...

News that Disney was moving forward with a standalone “Star Wars” film about a young Han Solo sent fans speculating on Tuesday, over which crop of actors might be in contention to play the famous character originated by Harrison Ford. Turns out there’s already a younger version of Ford on the market in Anthony Ingruber — who played an earlier Ford in Blake Lively’s 2015 decade-spanning drama “Age of Adaline.” Ingruber was so convincing as Ford that many wondered if CGI was used to age the latter backwards — all the better, then, that he’s had a Han Solo impression live on.

Before the deluge of summer blockbusters – superhero, sci-fi, and otherwise – hit theatres, this week’s film slate asks us to remember the meat and potatoes of cinema going.
Yes, we’re back in drama territory with two new releases this week.
Get your Harrison Ford fix with this weekend’s The Age of Adaline, a romance in the same vein as Tuck Everlastingor The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Throughout the film, Adaline (“Gossip Girl”’s Blake Lively), who discovers that she’s immortal, struggles with love and loss while she remains ageless. Canadian actor Anthony Ingruber, Harrison Ford, and Michiel Huisman also star.
Russell Crowe returns to his native Australia for his directorial debut, The Water Diviner. The film follows an Australian farmer (Crowe) who travels to Turkey after the First World War in search of his sons who went missing in the Battle of Gallipoli. Jai Courtney (Divergent...

In this weekend's The Age of Adaline, Blake Lively plays an ageless woman, but she's not the only star who gets a fake fountain of youth treatment. Harrison Ford plays an old friend of Adaline's, and when we flash back to the younger version of his character, William, meeting Adaline, you'll swear it's really Harrison Ford 40 years ago. But it's not - it's up-and-coming star Anthony Ingruber, who looks and sounds so much like Ford it's mind-boggling. Turns out, Ingruber has been doing impressions of celebrities on YouTube for years, not limited to just Ford. Here's what you need to know about the Harrison Ford sound-alike and the videos you need to see.

About six years ago, Anthony Ingruber posted a stellar impression of Harrison Ford as Han Solo on YouTube. To date, about 370,000 people have watched the young actor talk of parsecs and the Kessel Run, his mouth curled into Ford’s sardonic smile, eyes darting under suspicious brows.
Fast forward a few years and Ingruber hears that a movie called The Age of Adaline — about a woman (Blake Lively) who has stopped aging — is looking for an actor to play the younger version of Harrison Ford.
“I submitted my video and didn’t give it a second thought as I was under the impression I would be just one of hundreds auditioning for this part,” says Ingruber, now 25. “I learned later that the director, Lee Toland Krieger, had actually found my YouTube video personally and had spoken to production and was keen to get me on board.”

Blake Lively evoked old Hollywood glamour in a sweeping scarlet gown on the red carpet of her latest movie The Age Of Adaline in New York last night (April 19).
The 27-year-old actress donned a red halter-neck Monique L'Hullier gown featuring lace, leather and a ruffled skirt complete with train as she attended the screening with proud mother Elaine.
Lively, who is currently enjoying motherhood after welcoming her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds, also sported her hair in loose curls, styled to one side over her shoulder.
In upcoming drama The Age Of Adaline, the Gossip Girl star plays the titular lead who suddenly loses the ability to age following a miraculous accident.
While her loved ones grow old and pass away, Adaline finds herself questioning whether it is fair for her to fall in love with a charming young philanthropist (Michiel Huisman).

Nothing is more frustrating than watching a film with so much potential make one disastrous mistake after another. That, sadly, is the disappointing reality of Lee Toland Kreiger's "The Age of Adaline." The movie's premise is easy to grasp: 29-year-old Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) was born at the turn of the century, but after a strange car accident in the 1930's she discovers she will not age a single day more. Decades pass as her daughter ages beyond her, and she begins taking false identities to avoid being discovered by the press or, worse, government agents who might have suspicions about her status. The latter might also want to make her a guinea pig to discover why she's become immortal (a story tangent the film quickly abandons). By 2014, Bowman seems resigned to a life of loneliness until Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman of "Game of Thrones") spots her across the room...

The Age of Adaline tells the story of a woman born in 1908 who stops aging in her twenties. It has a really good, must watch trailer. The movie has a great cast with Harrison Ford, Ellen Burstyn, and Kathy Baker.
The coolest thing in the trailer is Anthony Ingruber, who plays a younger version of Ford's character. He looks a lot like Ford. Lst year, we even posted several videos of Ingruber doing spot on impressions of Ford. If a young Han Solo movie gets made, Ingruber needs to be at the top of that casting list.
The movies stars Blake Lively, yes, Blake Lively from Green Lantern, and I can't believe I'm excited to watch the movie. Watch the trailer and let me know if I'm insane for being excited for it.

Ever since Disney announced that they were moving forward with two stand-alone Star Wars movies, fans of the franchise have been weighing in on who they think would be a perfect fit for the young Han Solo role. Famous Hollywood faces include Shia Labeouf, Liam Hemsworth, Garret Hedlund and even Channing Tatum. Our sister site Movies.com asked fans to weigh-in on who they'd like to see play the role and there have certainly been a variety of responses. But we'd like to add one more name to the ever-expanding list of potential actors – Anthony Ingruber. YouTubers will recognize his face from impersonations of Jack Nicholson, Robert Downey Jr. and other actors, but it’s a video he posted four years ago that has begun to go viral. Check it out below and...

The search for the young Han Solo is officially on! With that said we were sent an impersonation video done by Anthony Ingruber, and we think he's Harrison Ford reincarnated...if Ford were dead...which we don't hope for. Anywho this guy is the bee's knees and would make a good fit. Agree? My personal favorite is his Blade Runner impression. Spot on in my opinion. This one has a Connery impression! Pretty great right? But anyone can do a Ford impression right? Well not everyone...
