Born in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Sarah Watts has lived across Canada and the United Kingdom, most recently Toronto and London, respectively. She spent three seasons working as a Researcher for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's weekly news and current events television program CBC News: Sunday and Sunday Night.
Prior to studying creative writing at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), she earned two Master of Arts degrees from the University of Toronto, ON, Canada. During this time she worked as a Researcher for CBC-TV, worked in non-profit and coordinated the 2010 Interfaith Religious Leaders' Summit to coincide with the G8/G20 Summit hosted in Canada.
She returned to Vancouver in 2016 where she has been working in production of film and television. In 2019 she partnered as a producer and writer with Echo 7 Films and the award-winning production company Ghostwood Films, where we watch "dreams turn into inescapable nightmares."
