Exclusive: Actors Lili Mirojnik and Aedin Mincks have signed with Stewart Talent, Deadline hears.

A native of New York City, Mirojnik most recently starred opposite actor Christopher Meloni in the UCP for Syfy series, Happy! Also starring in the J.J. Abrams-produced Cloverfield and appearing opposite Justin Timberlake in Sony/Screen Gems comedy Friends with Benefits, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts alum’s television credits include Person of Interest, Blue Bloods, Grimm and Grey’s Anatomy.

Known for his roles in everything from Disney’s A.N.T. Farm to The Mick, Colony, New Girl and Fresh Off the Boat, Mincks can currently be seen in Season 3 of Cobra Kai. In the Netflix series, set 34 years after the events of The Karate Kid, the actor plays ‘Mitch,’ a young martial artist who makes his entrance at the Cobra Kai Dojo, following Cobra Kai’s victory at the All Valley Karate Tournament.

Stewart Talent has two new additions to its star stable, adding Gina Gershon and Laila Odom for representation.

Gershon recently wrapped up a supporting role in Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up. She also shot an arc on Season 2 of the NBC drama New Amsterdam, and appeared as Jughead’s mother on The CW hit Riverdale.

She can currently be seen in Woody Allen’s movie Rifkin’s Festival opposite Wally Shawn and Christoph Waltz, as well as in Jesse Quinones’ Cagefighter.

Her previous TV credits include TV Land’s Younger, the Amazon comedy series Red Oaks, the Judd Apatow-produced HBO comedy series Crashing, and the Golden Globe-winning series Empire. She also was seen on Fox’s Brooklyn-Nine-Nine, Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, HBO’s How to Make it In America, and Danny McBride’s Eastbound & Down.

As screenwriters of the Lifetime original movies “Salt-n-Pepa” and “Wendy Williams: The Movie,” Abdul Williams and Leigh Davenport, respectively, were each proposed an exciting challenge by Lifetime: They had to condense the rich and aspirant lives of cultural trailblazers to fit neatly into the television movie format.

“Salt-n-Pepa” follows a 20-year journey for the titular “first ladies of rap and hip hop,” while “Wendy Williams: The Movie” tells tales about the daytime talk show host from her childhood to the present. Although these women are icons now, their journeys to that star status couldn’t just focus on the pioneering highs. Both Davenport and Abdul Williams were committed to delivering a well-rounded narrative about complex, ambitious Black women in the entertainment industry.

If you happen to love both Lifetime movies and Eighties rap goddesses, Salt-n-Pepa has everything: Two around-the-way girls meet in school, bond over music, break into the NYC hip-hop game, and blow up into superstars, with hits like “Push It” and “Shoop” and “Let’s Talk About Sex.” Salt-n-Pepa is directed by Mario Van Peebles, who made New Jack City and Posse back in the day, so he gets the Club MTV-era ambience right. This movie ain’t for everybody, only the sexy people.

Latv shared that the Lgbtqia+ talk show “The Q Agenda” has been renewed for a fourth season. The show features members of the Latinx and Lgbtqia+ communities, including hosts actress and trans activist Juliana Joel, comedian Lianna Carrera, makeup artist and influencer Victor Ramos and actor Enrique Sapene. Sapene is also the show’s creator. Each episode features guests from the entertainment industry, with discussions centered around issues affecting the Lgbtqia+ community. It is executive produced by Bruno Seros-Ulloa and Andres Palencia.

All Def Digital (Add) has a new web series outlining the craziness that is being a single woman. The digital network, founded by businessman and entrepreneur Russell Simmons and centered on urban youth culture, has a new web series called The Kellys, which premiered on August 18, 2015.

In The Kellys, three women, all named Kelly, help each other deal with what a release calls “double standards, lame guys, and the highs and lows” of singleness. Each episode will find the Kellys addressing modern-day female problems like wearing comfortable shoes with dresses and drunk texting; the debut episode, for example, finds the three women discussing how to get over previous guys in their lives.

Stepping onto the set of writer/director H.M. Coakley’s horror whodunit Hollaback last year on December 18th, the first few things that became readily apparent were the blood trail which serpentined across the wood flooring of the 130-year-old Los Angeles Antebellum mansion (doubling for the deep South) and the flick’s ‘token white chick,’ who came in the form of actress Allison Kyler. The third was the abundance of enthusiasm for the production which was mirrored by cast and crew alike.
