Stella Pevsner(1921-2020)

Stella Pevsner was an American author of children's books and works of young adult literature. Beginning in the 1960s, she wrote and published 18 books. In 1980 she received the Carl Sandburg Award from the Friends of the Chicago Public Library for her novel "Cute is a Four-Letter Word." She continued to write into her 90s, dictating her last book in 2018.
