Rebecca Rienks
- Music Department
- Producer
- Additional Crew
Rebecca Rienks' passion for music began as a pre-teen in rural Texas, fueled by mail-order zines, Columbia House and a lifetime subscription to Rolling Stone, gifted by her Mom for a mere $99.
After years of voracious music exploration and obsessive concert-going, Rebecca moved to Los Angeles to attend USC's prestigious Thornton School of Music, majoring in Music Industry. Internships at Capitol Records, Interscope Records and the Sunset Strip's historic Roxy paved the way for her entry into music supervision, as an assistant in the music department at Lionsgate Films. She has since gone on to work on over 120 film, television and soundtrack projects and countless pieces of advertising creative. Her work can be seen at all levels: critically-lauded indie films, box office #1s, niche documentaries, Super Bowl spots and both scripted and unscripted TV.
A relentless fan and self-identified "music agnostic," Rebecca still believes in getting to the festival early, assuming front row power stance and always catching the opening act. Her Rolling Stone subscription expires in 2059.
