Daniel Iannantuono was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and grew up in
Weidasville, a tiny, rural, neighboring village. Around the age of 15,
Daniel discovered he was a piano prodigy and knew he had to devote his
life to music. That year, after only months of piano and composition
study, Daniel left home to join the prestigious Interlochen Arts
Academy in Traverse City, Michigan. He received his BA in music
composition at the world renowned Eastman School of Music where he
studied under David Liptak, Robert Morris, Alan Schindler and Pulitzer
Prize winners Christopher Rouse and Joseph Schwantner. As a piano
student of Vincent Lenti, Daniel graduated as the top ranked pianist in
his undergraduate division. He moved to Southern California and
starting at the bottom, Daniel has trudged steadily up the ladder of
the LA composition scene. With credits from TV, to independent feature
film, Daniel is making his presence known.
