At the age of eighteen, attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Since then he has acted on stage with the National and Royal Shakespeare Theatre Companies and has also turned his hand to direction, returning to Norfolk in April 2008 to direct David Mamet's 'Sexual Perversity In Chicago' at the Norwich Theatre Royal.
