While she was playing the dead wife of Norman Reedus character in the Masters of Horror episode Cigarette Burns, the make-up artists blew menthol vapor into her eyes to make her cry for a scene. Unfortunately, the menthol vapor wasn't executed properly and chemically burned her corneas off exposing her pupils. Fortunately, her corneas grew back after four days, but during those four days, she was completely blind.
