John Przybylinski was born in Summit, New Jersey, and is a producer/executive. John's interest in movies & film spans back to his childhood, when he became fascinated with the complex and intricate aspects of film making. John is inspired by legends such as Bela Lugosi, Vincent Price, & Tomoyuki Tanaka the Creator of Godzilla; and 20th Century icons such as George Lucas, John Hughes, Stephen King, & John Carpenter the Master of Horror.
Przybylinski made his producorial debut in 2023 with the filming of drama/mystery 'Dark Night of the Soul', written & directed by S.J. Creazzo (Skipping Stones), starring the award-winning talents of Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines / Darkness of Man), and Martin Cove (Karate Kid / Cobra Kai).
In 2024 'Dark Night of the Soul' was unveiled at and enthusiastically welcomed by several premiere film festivals in the U.S. & abroad including: EFM at the Berlin International Film Festival - Berlin, Germany; Cannes Film Festival - Cannes, France; Tribeca Festival - New York, New York, USA; American Film Market - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The second film Przybylinski produced, 'You're Not There', written by Justy Kosek, was chosen as an official selection at the 15th Annual Awareness Film Festival. It was also nominated as the Top 100 Official Selection Feature Film Drama for 2024, by the Sherman Oaks Film Festival, a prestigious Indie Film Foundation. 'You're Not There' went on to win two 2024 Sherman Oaks Film Festival Awards; Feature Film Best Picture (drama), and Feature Film Best Lead Performer, awarded to actress Nellie Spackman.
Przybylinski has quickly built an impressive portfolio by being both strategic and selective when choosing to embrace new projects. John has created a strong reputation in the industry and has a unique ability to seamlessly collaborate with some of the most distinguished and experienced filmmakers.
From synopsis to script, to the film-set, and on to the big screen, Przybylinski plays an integral part throughout the entire process. Demonstrating a great aptitude for supporting writers, directors, and actors, both on & off the set, John provides input on storyline, feedback on performance, assists crew members & personnel, and works with directors to address critical areas and/or any creative adjustments, all to ensure the best execution of a scene/scenario.
In 2024, Przybylinski founded New Jersey (USA) based, Dark Horse Entertainment LLC, supporting film & media projects over a wide variety of genres.
