Taf Diallo is a Guinean-Canadian screenwriter who writes character engaging dramas with socio-political undertones. He's worked as a story editor on shows like The Porter (CBC, BET+) and Hudson & Rex (Citytv).
He is an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre. In 2022, he was selected as a fellow in Netflix's Diversity of Voices Initiative at the Banff World Media Festival.
Prior to screenwriting, he attended Western University, graduating with a bachelor's in political science. He has a background working in finance which has informed many of his scripts. He has also worked at the African Development Bank, where he contributed to projects focused on eradicating poverty and placing African nations on a path to sustainable economic development.
As a writer, his goal is to use his platform to tell stories that shed light on the struggles and triumphs of marginalized groups. He believes that storytelling has the power to challenge societal norms and spark change.
