- Born and raised on a Midwest farm in Illinois, Gwendolyn grew up in a musical family, writing and performing music with her father and sister from a young age. When she wasn't playing music she was studying math, her other passion. She completed her first college degree in Engineering at 21 on an academic scholarship and moved to the East Coast to work in strategy for Fortune 100 companies. In her spare time, she continued to sing and perform in musicals and other gigs. At 24 she was discovered by a film producer shooting on location near her town. Gwendolyn was subsequently cast as the female lead in that film, "The Last Confederate," which garnered her two Best Actress nominations in New York City and Los Angeles and received worldwide distribution. The experience took her to Los Angeles, and she went on to perform leading roles in several other films, as well as on TV and on stage, garnering her accolades from TV GUIDE, LA TIMES, and additional Best Actress nominations, all while continuing her work with engineering and music.
Gwendolyn enjoys honing her skills as a musician and singer-songwriter and now licenses her original songs to TV and film. She has aligned with a superb band of musicians and they perform regularly at legendary venues across Southern California.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
