Nick Lacey is an award winning Director, Producer and Cinematographer.
Nick is the winner of the Dendy Award for Best Short Film at the 71st Sydney Film Festival as Director and Producer of film Die Bully Die. Films Nick has directed and produced have won awards and premiered as finalists in the 71st and 69th Sydney Film Festivals, Nick's film Ghosted receiving a special jury commendation in judging at the festival in 2022. Nick has also had films screen in competition and as official selections in festivals such as Screamfest Film Festival, Cinéfest Oz, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival and Sony Catchlight Film Festival.

Notable series Nick has produced and shot are the multiple Australian Academy of Cinema and Television award winning series 'Old People's Home for Four Year Old's' and its subsequent 'Old People's Home for Teenagers', with both series winning AACTA awards for best factual entertainment series, receiving Rose d'Or nominations and winning New York Film and Television Festival Gold awards.
