The official website and X (formerly Twitter) for the upcoming Blue Miburo stage play adaptation, based on Tsuyoshi Yasuda's historical manga, posted a new key visual that features the seven main cast members, including Kosei Tsubokura (Jun Wakasa in UniteUp! ) as the protagonist, Chirinu Nio. Key Visual The visual was inspired by the celebratory illustration drawn by the manga's author Yasuda below when the stage play project was announced in December 2024 . The stage play is set to perform at Ex Theater Roppongi in Tokyo from April 11 to 20, 2025, then at the Kyoto Theater in Kyoto from April 25 to 27, 2025. Advance ticket sales are open from December 18, 2024 to February 24, 2025, after which general ticket sales will begin on March 1, 2025. Tsuyoshi Yasuda's The Blue Wolves of Mibu is currently getting an anime adaptation in the form of Blue Miburo . This spring, it will also be adapted into a stage play starring UniteUp! actor Kosei Tsubokura. Tsubokura will play Nio Chirinu, the white-haired orphan who joins the group of samurai who would eventually become the Shinsengumi.
