Louis Vuitton has dropped a new campaign featuring K-Pop singer Lisa and Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan!

The brand notes that the two House Ambassadors are “depicted as contemporary portraits within the atmospheric paintings of French conceptual artist Laurent Grasso.”

The campaign features clothes from Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière‘s latest runway collection and the photos were shot by Steven Meisel.

“Wearing statement looks from the show, the two internationally acclaimed talents appear immersed in these uncanny yet naturalistic scenes so that close-ups bring a touch of Renaissance composition. Shown in full-length, they are portrayed with slight movement – at once classical and dynamic,” the brand notes.

The campaign launches in print insertions globally on January 16.

Renauld White, who trailblazed diversity on designer runways and also appeared on the soap opera Guiding Light, died June 26.  He was 80 years old. White was under hospice care at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan at the time of his death, according to his friend and fashion designer Jeffrey Banks, who spoke with Wwd. The cause of death was not immediately known. Throughout his career, White called for greater representation in the fashion industry. In 1979, White became the second Black model to appear on the cover of GQ, the first being Urs Althaus just two years prior. White modeled for leading designers such as Bill Blass in 1969 as well as shows for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Donna Karan. He also worked for Yves Saint Laurent, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Versace, Armani, and Cerutti. White came out of retirement in 2023 to appear in an ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana that was shot by Steven Meisel.

Gail O’Neill, the fashion model who worked with brands like Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren, and also served as a TV correspondent for CBS, CNN and HGTV, has died. She was 61.

The model was in her Atlanta home when she died on Oct. 10, her former Click Model agent Stephanie Grill told The Hollywood Reporter. Her cause of death was not immediately known.

O’Neill was discovered by photographer Chuck Baker and his stylist wife Martha, who approached her at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York in 1985. She was doing marketing for Xerox at the time, and by the following year, she was on the cover of British Vogue.

It didn’t take very long for her career to take off after that. She landed modeling gigs with famous photographers, including Annie Leibovitz, Arthur Elgort, Gilles Bensimon, Steven Meisel, Albert Watson, Fabrizio Ferri, Alex Chatelain and Patrick Demarchelier.

For her September digital cover story of WSJ. Magazine’s Fall Men’s Style issue, the Canadian supermodel, 58, reveals she was diagnosed with the disease twice in the last five years.

“It was detected in my annual mammogram,” she tells the publication of her first diagnosis in 2018. “The margins were not good, and due to other health factors, without hesitation, because I wanted to put everything behind me and not to have to deal with this, I opted for a bilateral mastectomy. Thinking I was good and set for life. Breast cancer was not going to kill me.”

Miley Cyrus has been a part of the showbiz industry all her life, so isn’t one to let headlines bother her too much.

The singer spoke to British Vogue about those stories suggesting her smash hit “Flowers” was about her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, whom she divorced in 2020.

There were rumours claiming Cyrus was wearing one of Hemsworth’s old tux jackets in the music video, as well as people linking the lyrics to self-care following the much-talked about split.

Insisting she has no time to deal with such headlines, Cyrus told the mag: “I never need to be a master at the craft of tricking an audience. It will set itself on fire all by itself.”

She said elsewhere in the chat, “I wouldn’t erase my story or want it to be erased,” referencing the 10-year relationship coming to an end. “Having an interesting life makes for interesting storytelling.

Gigi Hadid, 22, and Bella Hadid, 21, posed together naked with Gigi crossing her bare leg over her sister’s unclothed hip, which sparked controversy on the Internet for seeming, well, a little incestuous.

When spotted out by paparazzi in Beverly Hills, the mom of the two biggest supermodels in the world commented on the revealing shoot taken by celebrity photographer Steven Meisel.

“I love it,” Hadid told a TMZ photographer. “Love the skin you’re in, baby!”

Selena Gomez is celebrating her one-year anniversary as the face of Coach by releasing a new campaign for the brand.

She teamed up with the same photographer of her first campaign, Steven Meisel, for the Spring 2018 ads — her second for the label — which highlights Coach’s handbag line and celebrates New York City. “ creative director Stuart Vevers makes New York feel like a town, a real community,” Gomez says in the press release. “It just feels like this is where the brand really lives.”
