Dating in California is not for the faint of heart, which explains why Stacia Karcher tried a different approach to have experts find her perfect match on Married at First Sight a few years ago.
That didn’t work out as planned, so she’s back in these dating streets and let’s say, it’s not going well.
The former Mafs star recounted a date with a mystery man that initially seemed promising until it started to go downhill.
Stacia has kept her personal life off social media since we saw her on the show in Season 15 when she was matched with Nate Barnes.
Though things seemed promising for the couple, Stacia got a lot of heat from viewers for wanting things to progress too quickly during the eight-week experiment.
Ultimately, Stacia and Nate realized they were not on the same page and opted to end their marriage.

Retired Colonel Terashima assessed the accuracy of the war scenes in Channing Tatum's movie Dear John, giving it a 6 out of 10 rating. Terashima praised the detail of not having doors on the Humvees but criticized the characters for standing out in the open and firing rounds without seeking cover. Dear John primarily focuses on the romance between the main characters, but the movie incorporates aspects of war, earning it commendation from Terashima despite some inaccuracies.
Channing Tatum's 2010 romantic war movie Dear John has been assessed by retired Colonel Eric Terashima. The movie, based on Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel, explores how Staff Sergeant John Tyree (Tatum) and Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried) fell in love and continued their relationship by letter while the former was deployed. Along with Tatum and Seyfried, the cast of Dear John includes Luke Benward, Scott Porter, D.J. Cotrona, Henry Thomas, and Richard Jenkins. Despite being one...

Picking out the best Nicolas Cage movie can be fairly challenging, given the fact that the Hollywood star has starred in a diverse array of films of varying merit. Nothing short of a cultural tour-de-force, Nicolas Cage has managed to acquire a dedicated cult following over the years, whilst winning various accolades including an Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Golden Globe. However, when it comes to Cage, a string of offbeat roles granted him a bad movie streak. Seminal among these is Deadfall, Left Behind, and Pay The Ghost, among which the first two can be deemed as downright unwatchable.
Having said that, it is important to acknowledge that Cage is no stranger to portraying strong, complex characters, as evidenced in his revenge-fueled, yet pathos-inducing rendition of Red in Panos Cosmatos’ heavy metal valentine, Mandy. Underwhelming performances aside, there is a plethora of Cage films that deserve praise and consideration,...

Ariel Winter got in touch with her tropical side as she appeared to enjoy some downtime away from the cameras.
The 24-year-old Modern Family alum and pal to co-star and newlywed Sarah Hyland got in some final sun-soaking in the first days of autumn as she looked to be enjoying a little me-time, months after the pilot for a new show entitled Hungry was pulled by NBC.
The actress looked fresh-faced and beautiful as she went completely makeup free for her latest Instagram snap, showing off glowing, smooth skin.

“My dad says if I ever see a gun I have to leave immediately,” says Roland (Cameron Crovetti). He’s a good boy and he aims to take his dad’s advice, but his friend Chris pleads with him to return to the abandoned boat where they’ve been playing. They don’t have to use the gun. "Can't stop now, it's the role of a lifetime." Vertical Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie comedy titled Playing God, a film from writer / director Scott Brignac. It's debuting in August despite not showing up at any festivals before. A brother & sister con-artist duo find themselves scamming a grieving billionaire by convincing him they can introduce him to God, face-to-face. They recruit their mentor, and together the three of them attempt the biggest con of their lives. The film stars Hannah Kasulka & Luke Benward as the con siblings, also joined by Michael McKean, Jude Demorest, Marc Menchaca, plus Alan Tudyk. This actually looks like a great heist film, might be an undiscovered gem. Especially with the tease when he finally sits down with "God" - yeah this film seems much more clever and grand than I was expecting at first. Ariel Winter is ending the year with a new man! A source tells E! News that the Modern Family star is dating fellow Hollywood actor Luke Benward. While the couple hasn't commented on their relationship status—or made things Instagram official—the pair was spotted looking cozy Wednesday evening. In photos obtained by E! News, the duo stopped by Delilah in West Hollywood after Ariel attended Luke's reading "Really Really" at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. "It was very clear they are a couple and they were affectionate all night long. They had their arms wrapped around each other and he put his hand on her waist," an eyewitness shared with E! News....

A sub-Tennessee Williams potboiler triangle between restless sexpot, impotent husband, and hunky handyman ever-so-slowly congeals into a lumpy gumbo of thriller elements in “Grand Isle.” This third directorial big-screen feature for veteran Steadicam operator Stephen S. Campanelli has plenty of potential guilty-pleasure signifiers — not least being top-billed Nicolas Cage’s sixth vehicle this year — but the overripe (if underdeveloped) payoff arrives only after a full hour of patience-testing buildup. Opening on 15 screens Dec. 6, it looks to make a much larger commercial impact as a night’s disposable home entertainment in simultaneous on-demand release.
An opening sequence that turns out to be something of a red herring finds Cage’s tippling ex-Marine Walter Franklin roused from slumber in 1988 by a break-in at his rural southern Louisiana manse. The would-be thief manages to get back outside, but is shot by the master of the house as he’s clambering over the picket fence.

After the credits for To All the Boys I've Loved Before start to roll, the Netflix rom-com slips in an extra scene that hints at what's to come for Lara Jean: the reappearance of one of her childhood crushes, John Ambrose McClaren. Despite assuming that the letter Kitty secretly sent to him got lost in the mail, he shows up on the Covey family's doorstep with a bouquet and Lara Jean's letter, seemingly ready to profess his love. Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) better watch out.
Now that we know the upcoming sequel to the film is officially in the works - which is tentatively being called To All the Boys I've Loved Before 2 (the second book in Jenny Han's bestselling series is titled P.S. I Still Love You) - you might be wondering how the new character fits into Lara Jean's life, but also who's going to play him.

Australian actress Danielle Macdonald first caught the attention of Hollywood with a star-making turn in Geremy Jasper’s 2017 Sundance hit “Patti Cake$,” which cast her as an unlikely heroine saddled with a baked good-based nickname yearning to break free from expectation and convention by using her unexpected skills in rap to shine. She’s trying something similar in Anne Fletcher’s “Dumplin,'” in which she is set as an unlikely heroine saddled with a baked good-based nickname yearning to break free from expectation and convention by using her unexpected skills in beauty pageants to shine. And yet Fletcher’s Netflix film offers a new glimpse at Macdonald’s evolving talent, allowing her to blend Ya convention with genuine heart in the mother-daughter dramedy.

As sweet, corny, and comforting as your grandma’s creamed corn, “Dumplin’” may not be a balanced meal of a movie, but it’s an enjoyably carb-y binge. Based on Julie Murphy’s Ya novel, director Anne Fletcher’s gentle comedy is a Southern charmer, all set to the songs of Dolly Parton.
The “Dumplin’” of the title, teenaged Willowdean (Danielle Macdonald) loves Dolly, likes her coworker Bo (Luke Benward), and hates beauty pageants.

Dumplin' doesn't nail its mother-daughter drama, but delights with its Dolly Parton-fueled story of female friendship & self-acceptance.
Dumplin', Netflix's feature film adaptation of Julie Murphy's bestselling book, shows its adaptation strings in its tale of the smalltown beauty pageant wedged between a mother and daughter, but soars in its depiction of adolescent girl friendship.
Dumplin' is the story of a clever, self-aware Texan teenaged girl named Willowdeen (Danielle Macdonald). Struggling to connect with herself and her beauty pageant-obsessed mother, Rosie (Jennifer Aniston), in the wake of her Aunt Lucy's (Hilliary Begley) death, Will enters the Clover County Miss Teen Bluebonnet competition as a form of angry protest against the fat-shaming culture she and her Aunt Lucy have had to endure for their entire lives.
Directed by Anne Fletcher from a script by Kristin Hahn, Dumplin' mostly refuses to fall into "tragic fat girl" tropes, which is one of the film's greatest strengths.

Rosie Dickson is the queen of her small Texas town’s pageant scene. Her daughter Willowdean is … not. But she’s about to flip the script on Mom’s world: “Enough is enough,” the girl tells her best friend. “I think I’m gonna sign up for the pageant.”
She adds, “It’s gonna be like a protest in heels.”

"And that's when I decided - enough is enough." Netflix has unveiled the dazzling official trailer for an indie dramatic comedy titled Dumplin', the latest from filmmaker Anne Fletcher. Box office-busting filmmaker Anne Fletcher is back behind the camera for another feel-good comedy about two very different people coming together, but “The Proposal” director isn’t returning to her rom-com roots, instead she’s looking to spread a little love on mother-daugther relationships. In “Dumplin,'” Fletcher is going decidedly country to tell the story of obsessive former beauty queen Rosie (Jennifer Aniston) and her rebellious teen daughter Willowdean.
While Rosie’s days of winning pageants are long gone, her entire identity remains wrapped up in her glory years as a teen beauty queen, and that puts her at odds with Willowdean, who has never given much of a thought to the pageant scene.
