We mustn’t tell Big Little Lies: Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are leading ladies with serious style.
The costars brought their fashion A-game to the Los Angeles premiere of their HBO miniseries on Tuesday evening.
Kidman, 49, was all about romantic ruffles as she opted for floral patterned gown from Altuzarra’s Spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection. The star, who was accompanied by husband Keith Urban, accessorized her look with bracelets and rings from Fred Leighton and an Omega watch.

Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman team up for HBO's star-studded miniseries, Big Little Lies, and for the pair, the project was a dream.
Based on Liane Moriarty's best-selling 2014 novel of the same name, Big Little Lies centers on a group of women -- all in different stages of motherhood -- in Monterey, California, whose seemingly perfect lives begin to unravel to the point of murder.
Witherspoon and Kidman play two of the women, Madeline Mackenzie and Celeste Wright, respectively, and also serve as executive producers on the seven-part miniseries. Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern, Alexander Skarsgard and Adam Scott also star.

When Danielle and Adam Busby welcomed the only all-female set of quintuplets in the country last year, the phrase "the new normal" took on a whole new meaning.
Already parents to daughter Blayke, 5, and with the quints now just over a year old, Danielle and Adam are poised to share their story on TLC's upcoming show OutDaughtered, which chronicles how the family of three became a family of eight overnight.
"When we found out that we were having quintuplets ... I mean, Adam just about passed out," Danielle, 32, tells People exclusively. "I just started laughing hysterically. I was like, 'We're just these normal people,...

This episode relied heavily on your investment in the Hook-and-Liam of it all, but if you allowed the show some latitude, I think there was plenty of narrative payoff.
For one, we learned in flashback how Killian’s penchant for drink sank the brothers’ first stab at joining the Royal Navy.

Hollywood always seems to be looking for the next big lucrative film franchise. Studios have looked at several existing properties in hopes of finding their big meal ticket, and some of those properties include classic action figure toy lines and cartoon series from the 1980s. We’ve already seen films for G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and a few others, but there are a helluva lot more out there that would make for some great movies!
I’ve put together a list of several different action figure and cartoon properties that I would love to see adapted for the big screen. Most of the properties on this list are ones I loved as a kid, and it would be so cool to see them brought to life in a way we've never seen before. An earlier version of this story incorrectly reported that Vikander was Danish, not Swedish. The post has been updated to reflect the change.
Universal’s fifth Bourne installment is casting up, with Matt Damon set to reprise the role of amnesiac CIA assassin Jason Bourne in a new entry again directed by Paul Greengrass (who helmed the first three Bourne pics). Additionally, Julia Stiles has been recruited to again play Bourne’s ally Nicky Parsons. Now, it’s been officially confirmed by Deadline that Ex Machina breakout Alicia Vikander, previously in talks for a key role, has signed on for the tentpole.
The site simultaneously reports that the Swedish actress, who has been courted by just about every major studio in the wake of her star-making performance as A.I. Ava in Alex Garland’s sci-fi hit, will not be appearing in the Assassin’s Creed adaptation alongside Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard.

Ex Machina finally landed the ferociously talented Alicia Vikander a well-deserved spot on the New A-List, but the actress isn’t resting on her laurels. With six films opening in the next nine months, we’re going to be seeing a lot of Vikander on the big screen, and she just secured another buzzy role – in James Ponsoldt’s adaptation of The Circle.
Based on the novel by Dave Eggers, the story focuses on a college grad (Vikander) who gets a job at a powerful tech company simply known as The Circle. Tom Hanks is circling (sorry, couldn’t resist) the role of a mysterious colleague, who opens her eyes to a more sinister side to the company.

In 2013/2014 the world was introduced to Only Lovers Left Alive, a film written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. It stars Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton as the titular lovers. It first premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival before it opened in the United States on April 11, 2014. Since its release, the film world is a better place.
Only Lovers Left Alive is a vampire love story that does not spend the entire film focused on the fact that the two many characters are vampires. They don’t spend their time feasting on homeless locals or drunken clubbers. Very little time is devoted to explaining the rituals of their lives as vampires. If it weren’t for the fact that Swinton and Hiddleston drink blood occasionally for the first half of the film (out of classy cocktail glasses) we would hardly realize their true nature.

Since establishing The Weinstein Company from the ashes of his Miramax brand in 2005, Harvey Weinstein has continued to use the awards season to the benefit of his film releases. It was bumpy going at first with failed attempts like "Bobby" and "The Great Debaters," but with 2008's "The Reader," things finally started to pick back up. Eight Best Picture nominations and two back-to-back wins later, he's out in front with another project right in his wheelhouse: "The Imitation Game." The Alan Turing biopic, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley, landed eight Oscar nominations in January and has grossed $134 million worldwide. And it's adding theaters still, using the fuel of the circuit to stoke the fire at the box office. Meanwhile, Weinstein has turned up the heat on the campaign surrounding the film, calling for recognition of issues inherent in the material, as he's done with everything from "Silver Linings Playbook...

Despite the lottery-esque sounding odds, the U.S Dramatic Competition section which produces the finest American indie specimens such as Frozen River, Winter’s Bone, Blue Valentine, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Fruitvale Station and Whiplash is fairly consistent in terms of quality. Last year’s crop of sixteen have almost all had their theatrical releases with Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter being the last one out of the gates (pegged with an early 2015 release). Last week we individually looked at our top 80 Sundance Film Fest Predictions (you’ll find 30 other titles worth considering in our intro) and below, we’ve split the list into narrative and non-fiction film items and have both identified and color-coded our picks in an AtoZ cheat sheet. It’s fair to say that after Twilight many horror fans thought it was time to retire the vampire for a while. The fact is the point about the fanged ones is that they tend not to die when they are meant to, so what they need is something to make them a little more relevant in the world of monsters. A very good way to do just that is to take Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston and make one of the best vampire movies in years, though don’t expect too much horror in Only Lovers Left Alive, it’s much too sophisticated for that.

I’m not sure what’s worse, sparkling vampires or hipster vampires. Alright, totally kidding, because there’s not a single Twilight comparison throughout Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive, and dammit if Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston aren’t the coolest vampires this side of Brooklyn. I mean, Hiddleston’s character Adam wears sunglasses at night, writes music he never wants heard, and collects vintage guitars no one will ever see – he’s about one patch of ill-advised facial hair and a fedora away from being the King of all who couldn’t care less.
Honestly, what did you expect from a Jarmusch film about vampires? Every horrific aspect is so underplayed, akin to an indie rock band who appear to have begrudgingly taken the stage, but just like how lethargic rockers amass monster crowds by seemingly ignoring them, that’s how Swinton and Hiddleston charm their way into our hearts.

Both are cultured intellectuals with an all-embracing passion for music, literature and science, who have evolved to a level where they no longer kill for sustenance, but still retain their innate wildness. Their love story has endured several centuries but their debauched idyll is threatened by the uninvited arrival of Eve’s carefree little sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska) who hasn’t yet learned to tame her wilder instincts.

They’re not the type to tackle you in the snow and rip your throat out. No, the two main vampires in director Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive are a far cry from the vicious fanged pack of 30 Days of Night. Sure, they still drink blood, but they don’t take it from unwilling innocents. You can see these eternal blood sippers ponder life and each other on Blu-ray and DVD before summer’s end.
Slated for an August 19th home media release, Only Lovers Left Alive stars Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston. The Blu-ray / DVD release comes with a few bonus features for fans to savor, as well as cover art that depicts the two lead actors kicking back like mellow vamps:

The film is the apotheosis of American independent film and underground music, full of Jarmusch’s laconic sense of humor. Only Lovers Left Alive stars Oscar winner Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton, 2008, Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role) and Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers) alongside co-stars Mia Wasikowska (Lawless), Anton Yelchin (Star Trek Into Darkness), and John Hurt (Harry Potter).

Hipster vampires for the art-house crowd from Jim Jarmusch. Only Lovers Left Alive bears the director’s signature deadpan approach and deliberate pace and his fans will enjoy it, but viewers unfamiliar with the indie-cool Jarmusch style or those expecting bloody vampire conventions may find it a long 123 minutes. It barely has fangs, but Only Lovers Left Alive is worth seeing for stars Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston, irresistible as Adam and Eve, a long-married pair of pale, smart, funny, and sexy creatures of the night. I suspect it will connect with a certain audience and predict significant cult status because of these two great characters, but I wish Jarmusch had given them more to do.
Set against the dilapidated desolation of Detroit, Only Lovers Left Alive is the tale of Adam (Hiddleston), an underground musician distressed by the direction of the human race (he calls the living ‘Zombies’). Adam...

Eternity and a Day: Jim Jarmusch’s Vampire Flick Is Typically Jarmuschian
After his droll yet audience-friendly quirkfest Broken Flowers took home the Grand Prix at Cannes ’05 hit, Jim Jarmusch returns to the Croisette (after his sharply divisive The Limits of Control eluded the festival circuit) with another quintessentially Jarmuschian affair – this time about vampires. Typically shapeless, loquacious, and deeply concerned with artifacts of yester-generations’ hip kids (viz., wicked guitars and an eclectic record collection), this notably un-horrific take on the genre comes on the heels of Amy Heckerling’s under-appreciated comedy Vamps to form a unique diptych of films more concerned with certain basic ideas of immortality than in generating jump scares.
Featuring a pair of rather sophisticated undead named Adam and Eve (Tim Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton), the Detroit-set Only Lovers Left Alive is propelled, ever so deliberately, by the two leads’ recollections and souvenirs, their personal...

Exotic trinkets and antique technology pave the rooms of a dimly lit apartment in desolated, almost-post-apocalyptic Detroit. Like a space transplanted from another era it is hard to tell what year it is by solely examining the objects, the colors, or the sounds that emanate from this place. Hiding in this crowded environment is Adam (Tom Hiddleston), a pale, long-haired, and lonely individual. He is melancholy personified. In the midst of all the mismatched artifacts the one common theme is music. One can presumably infer that playing with his instruments and recording devices is as close as Adam gets to happiness by himself. Thousands of miles away in exuberant Tangier, Morocco, resting in a similarly trendy abode lays Eve (Tilda Swinton), an elegant beauty hiding away in the heat of the dessert night. With a gorgeous spinning birds-eye-view shot director Jim Jarmusch introduces the two timeless protagonists of his darkly satirical, irreverently original, and ethereal film Only Lovers Left Alive.
Buzzing with nocturnal life the North African city seems like the perfect site for Eve to find her preferred elixir. The increasingly hard to find coveted liquid is provided by an ancient friend, Marlowe (played by John Hurt), a man who shares her eternal affliction. Back in the States, Adam hangs out with Ian (Anton Yelchin),his one and only companion/vendor. The young man provides the enigmatic musician with all sorts of rarities including unique instruments. He is Adam’s only connection to the modern world. In turn, Ian is a fan of the reclusive man’s work whose experimental tunes have become underground hits, which brings unwanted attention to his residence. But this trivial fame is irrelevant for Adam who is depressed. Desperate, he asks his provider for a special order: a bullet with a casing made out of wood.
At the end of his rope, the suicidal immortal creature attempts to make contact with the one only individual that can make him whole. Video chatting via an antique monitor Eva agrees to leave her solitude behind and join his lover in the rundown Midwestern town. Once reunited the pair of glamorous bloodsuckers make of Detroit a lugubrious paradise. Empty streets and darkness is just what they need to fell alive once more after centuries of putting up with human madness. Reminiscing on the people they’ve met, the many identities they’ve had, and the events they’ve witness, it becomes evident that vampires and wisdom are an obvious match. Who would know more about the world’s history than those who have taken part in it first hand?
Dealing with the “zombies”, as they refer to us mortals, has proven to be the most challenging aspect of their prolonged journey. Time has taught them to be civil, and to not run around feeding barbarically and endanger their perfectly elaborated covers. On the other hand, finding untainted blood has become an odyssey thanks to mankind’s irresponsible practices that poison the vital plasma. Nevertheless, they have endured. Together now, Adam and Eve can dance, and kiss, and enjoy biohazard-friendly lollipops under the moon. Unfortunately their peacefully morbid haven is ruined when Eva’s reckless sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska) comes to visit. She is thirsty, and to makes matters worse she comes from the most “zombified” place of them all: Los Angeles. This terrifying encounter will prove risky and soon will compromise their survival.
Readers will have to excuse the heavy dose of plot included in this review, but with a film as intoxicating as this, it is hard not to get lost in the stylistic and brilliant story elements of it. Swinton and Hiddleston’s pairing is heavenly, or in this case, perfectly under-worldly. There is not a single false note in their glorious performances as tortured souls, whose heartwarming love prevails above the burden of endless life. What could have become a cheese parody is elevated to a strange level of greatness reserved only for cult-classics that can stand the test of time. Jarmusch’s film is exceptional, his blend of retro music, vintage wardrobe, blissful production design, and exquisite cinematography create an otherworldly atmosphere that is at once suspenseful and sensual.
Appreciating humanity as seen through the bloodshot eyes of these characters creates a marvelous premise. It is executed with the exact tone it required to be funny and inquisitive about a legendary creatures that have plagued storytelling for ages. His film vindicates vampires and reclaims them as graceful, complex, and cultured beings, rather than vehicle for teenage fantasies. Admitting that Only Lovers Left Alive merits multiple viewings is easy, because it simply the most intelligent movie ever made about the eternally intriguing and mystical nightwalkers with fangs.

If the guy from the Dos Equis commericals is The Most Interesting Man In The World, it’s possible that Tilda Swinton is The Most Interesting Woman – though she has the advantage since she’s real, and so are her accomplishments. Taleted, thoughtful and endlessly idiosyncratic, Swinton has been crafting indelible characters on film since the late 1980s, when she worked with late director Derek Jarman, and slowly moved into more mainstream projects where her natural singularity created distinctive, memorable characters and performances. And since 2005, she has collaborated closely with equally unique filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, in whose latest project, Only Lovers Left Alive, she plays Eve, an anachonristic – and yet timeless – vampire in a long-term, and long-distance relationship with her equally immortal partner Adam (Tom Hiddleston).

It’s hard to know whether Jim Jarmusch means for his latest film to be a rejoinder to the spate of vampire movies that audiences have embraced or just a highbrow addition to its ranks, but Only Lovers Left Alive is by far one of the most thoughtful movies about the lives of the undead ever made. That said, it’s not one of the most original, which is why it becomes exponentially less interesting the more it decides to be about something.
Tom Hiddleston (Thor: The Dark World) plays Adam to Tilda Swinton’s (The Grand Budapest Hotel) Eve, a pair of vampires who live on separate continents – he in Detroit, she in Tangier – and have been soul mates for centuries. Decided opposites, he makes idiosyncratic rock & roll that has earned him both money and fame, perhaps in part because of his melancholy reclusiveness, while she shuffles through the streets unafraid,...

It's no surprise Jim Jarmusch's vampire love story Only Lovers Left Alive isn't a vampire film in the same vein as anything you've seen come out of Hollywood. These vampires don't glitter and they've found more conventional ways to sate their blood lust than risking exposure or worse by draining human beings. There is, however, an overall sense of loneliness and the characters are quite moody as most vampires tend to be. Their disgruntled, "hate the world" nature speaks to the film's larger theme, and while it isn't exactly ground-breaking, in terms of execution, it's quietly entertaining. The story centers on centuries old vampire lovers Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton), the first of many recognizable/metaphorical/playful names used within the narrative. Though, when it comes to these two names Jarmusch credits his inspiration as not from the Bible, but from Mark Twain's "The Diaries of...

Tilda Swinton is not only one of the best actresses working in Hollywood today, but also one of the most unique. She has a unique look that has served her well in such memorable roles as Orlando in Orlando, the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Karen Crowder in Michael Clayton (which earned her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress). With each performance she gives, Swinton brings a raw originality that other actors can’t quite lay claim to, and she captivates you thoroughly for every moment she appears on screen. That holds true for her latest role as well, which has her playing a centuries old vampire in Only Lovers Left Alive and sees her back with independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, whom she worked with on Broken Flowers and The Limits Of Control.

While some may argue the audience will be only barely left alive after sitting through 2-1/2 hours of slow, dreamy, arty, self-indulgent vampire drama Only Lovers Left Alive, no one can accuse its star, Tilda Swinton, of being anything other than mesmerizing.
The actress has worked with writer/director Jim Jarmusch a number of times (my favorite of their collaborations is The Limits of Control), but this project seems to be extra special to her because it's been in the pipeline for so long… an eternity, I guess you could say!
In the film Swinton plays Eve, an ancient, art-appreciating vampire who's in love with a gifted but melancholy musician, Adam (Tom Hiddleston).
With Only Lovers Left Alive (review) arriving (finally!) in theaters on April 11th, she sat down with a group of us at a recent press day in Beverly Hills to talk "all about Eve."

If the vampire genre is soon headed for a coffin of its own, it'll at least have the luxury of going out in style. In Only Lovers Left Alive, indie filmmaking legend Jim Jarmusch has made the most gorgeous and heartfelt film of his 34-year career: a fanged love story, inspired by Anne Rice, Mark Twain, and Jarmusch's own enraged misanthropy, in which Detroit-based Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Tangier-rooted Eve (Tilda Swinton) rekindle their centuries-long affair. They're forced to endure some very human problems, like Eve's moocher sister, Ava (Mia Wasikowska), and some specific to immortal beings, like Adam's frustration that his vampirism-induced anonymity keeps him from being recognized as the Hendrix-level guitarist he is.

Ok, Jim Jarmusch. Just take it. Take all our blood. Now. Few things seem as amazing as being undead creatures of the night and hanging out with Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton and Mia Wasikowska. The director’s latest film, Only Lovers Left Alive, is still making the festival rounds before its April 11 theatrical premiere. Centuries-old vampires Adam and Eve (Hiddleston and Swinton) reunite in a mutual thirst — for each other and pure blood untainted by the zombies (humans). The arrival of Eve’s free-spirited sister, Ava (Wasikowska), shakes things up for Adam, a reclusive, pessimistic musician, and his pragmatic partner, threatening their survival. Jarmusch’s sardonic sense of humor and the utterly cool Hiddleston and Swinton — here grungy...

You have probably already heard about Only Lovers Left Alive, although it’s far easier to remember it as “the Tom Hiddleston/Tilda Swinton vampire movie.” It has been a long time in coming to the American market, slowly making the rounds of the festival circuit since it premiered at Cannes last year. Now, the film is finally getting a wide U.S. release, promoted by yet another dreamy, ethereal trailer.
Hiddleston and Swinton feature as centuries-old vampire lovers named Adam and Eve, now evolved to a state where they do not need to feast upon humans to acquire sustenance. Instead they seem to spend their time playing music, discussing literature, and enjoying each other’s company. A wrench may be thrown into the works, however, by the appearance of Adam’s sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska), a younger and obviously wilder creature whom Adam does not seem to be overly fond of.

This retro-chic haute-hippy vampire flick gets its energy from the sulphurous chemistry between Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston
I have warmed up – or maybe rather cooled down – to Jim Jarmusch's beautifully made and exquisitely designed vampire movie since seeing it at Cannes last year. At first, it looked studenty and self-congratulatory. But if it is an exercise in style … well, what style. With its retro-chic connoisseurship and analogue era rock, this is a brilliant haute-hippy homage: a movie that could almost have been conceived at the same time as Performance or Zabriskie Point.
As the undead lovers, Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston hang out together very elegantly, exchanging worldly badinage and wondering what's in the fridge, like Withnail and Withnail, or I and I. Hiddleston is Adam, a reclusive vampire rock star hiding out from his fans in Detroit and savouring the necrophiliac ruin-porn thereabouts. Swinton plays his paramour,...

One of cinema's most defiant rebels jumps on the vampire bandwagon, but never fear: he hasn't gone all the way to the dark side. Writer/director Jim Jarmusch (Broken Flowers, Coffee and Cigarettes) casts Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston as the bloodsuckers trying to fill their time after so many centuries, like a couple of urban slackers doomed to faff for eternity.
Killing isn't much of a kick, either. Instead, they get their O-negative on the black market, though Hiddleston (best known as Loki in the Thor franchise) has a bit of fun as Adam, drifting through hospital corridors with an incongruous stethoscope and sunglasses, creeping out the doctor who supplies him. Written and Directed by Jim Jarmusch
Starring: Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton, Mia Wasikowska, Anton Yelchin, John Hurt,* and Jeffrey Wright
Synopsis: Set against the desolation of the once-vibrant cities of Detroit and Tangier, an underground musician, deeply depressed by the direction the world is going, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover. [P.S. They are also vampires. –ed.]
Review:
Only Lovers Left Alive has more story than plot, and more mood than story. Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton) are vampires living in Detroit and Tangier, respectively. At the start of the movie, they move separately but synchronously through their lives. Hiddleston is tired of being alive–or undead. Swinton goes to Detroit, and they spend awhile in blissful domesticity as reunited husband and wife. Then Swinton’s younger sister shows up, and all the plotty things happen in quick succession.
But the parts I liked best weren’t the plotty bits. They were the...

(Cbr) If you think you’ve had some complicated, seemingly eternal relationships, you’ve got nothing on the characters in "Only Lovers Left Alive". This love story finds vampires Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton) reuniting after being apart for quite a while. Things are going well for the unconventional couple when Eve’s sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska) shows up to cause trouble. Anton Yelchin "(Star Trek"), Jeffrey Wright ("Boardwalk Empire") and John Hurt ("Doctor Who") also star. The Jim Jarmusch ("Coffee and Cigarettes", "Broken Flowers") film premiered last year at Cannes, where it was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics. After being...

Girls is back on Sunday and the onslaught of returning shows is just beginning. Set your DVRs now! At BuzzFeed, you can read my latest feature, "13 Returning TV Shows To Get Excited About," in which I run down 13 returning television series worth watching this winter. (And, yes, I know that Game of Thrones isn't on there: We still don't have an airdate.) 1. Justified (FX) Season 5 of Justified finds Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan Givens tangling with some Florida lowlifes, relatives of Dewey Crowe (Damon Herriman), one of Harlan County’s sleaziest denizens. Plus, Boyd (Walton Goggins) tries to find a way to get Ava (Joelle Carter) out of prison… and he exacts a bloody revenge against those who put her there in the first place. Along the way, wisecracks are exchanged, along with gunfire. Season 5 premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. 2. Girls (HBO) The stellar third season of HBO’s...

Not too long ago, we posted a review of the new Jim Jarmusch movie Only Lovers Left Alive, in which Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton play emaciated vampire lovers. The review written by our very own Tom Stoup wasn’t favourable to the film stating, “Jim Jarmusch does not intend to analyze questions but simply to put ideas out there, and as a result, his product ultimately feels lackadaisical and aimless”. It’s hard to believe the director of Down By Law, Ghost Dog and Dead Man (to name a few), could so greatly disappoint, especially while working with such an incredible cast. I still haven’t seen Only Lovers Left Alive, but despite Tom’s negative review, this new clip featuring Hiddleston and Swinton dancing to Denise La Salle’s “Trapped By A Thing Called Love,” has me very excited. Watch the clip below.

As 2013 draws to a close, we're already taking a look at what's coming in 2014. One film you'll probably hear us continuously advocate for is Jim Jarmusch's "Only Lovers Left Alive." From Cannes to Toronto to New York to London, it has dipped its fangs into the neck of The Playlist team and rendered us helpless to its charms. Now, a plethora of new images have arrived as an excuse for us to talk about this one again. Starringn Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston, the movie is mostly set against the backdrop of a ravaged Detroit, where Adam lives in isolation, creating beautiful music. But he sees little hope in humanity or continuing his eternal existence, when his longtime lover Eve arrives to try and help him out of his funk. But their union is interrupted by the arrival of Eve's troublemaking sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska) and what follows is a gorgeous meditation on art,...
