Next month, the Sakamoto Days manga comes to life as an anime with help from lots of big talents. Today, we get a first look at the cover for the opening theme single, Vaundy's "Hashire Sakamoto," drawn by none other than original series creator Yuto Suzuki! Quite unsurprisingly, Dandadan has once again proven why it’s so goated, delivering an episode that has unironically set a new standard for the romance genre in anime. Episode 11 started off on a lighthearted note, with the usual dose of humor that we’ve come to expect from the series. But little did we know, the tone was about to take dramatic turns, shifting gears from a high-octane chase scene to a wholesome romance later on.

Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the episode pulled out the unthinkable, delivering an emotional, and romantic conclusion that left fans in a state of awe. The subtle comedic moments, impressive animation, and intense action sequences were all overshadowed by the episode’s finale – a heartwarmingly romantic, feel-good ending!

Science Saru is peaking with its masterpiece anime Dandadan. The series is at an all-time high with its growing popularity. But what is even more interesting is the richness of the series.

Its ability to unpack depth and complex emotions makes it so much better. With each episode, the studio overdid itself in more ways than one. The recent episode, however, is sure to shock and rile the fandom up.

This is especially true for Gojo fans who are yet to make peace with the character’s demise. With Gojo’s Va joining Tatsu’s series, it was nothing short of a visual treat.

Moreover, it stands in contrast with the fandom’s disagreement and toxicity when it comes to Gojo’s contentious fate. It all circles back to the community’s extreme antics and online abuse.

Dandadan may as well demand its own specific genre because I don’t know if I want it to be more of a romance anime or for it to be more action-oriented. On one hand, it pulls off the fight sequence with such fluidity that it leaves you wanting more. On the other hand, there is just such a charm in wanting to see Momo and Okarun tackle their feelings for each other like awkward teenagers would and should do.

"A legendary hitman-turned-shopkeeper!" Netflix has revealed a fun first look teaser for a Japanese anime series called Sakamoto Days, arriving for streaming worldwide starting in January 2025. This is based on the already beloved manga of the same name, and is produced by Tms Entertainment & manga publisher Shueisha in Japan, with Masaki Watanabe (of "Battle Spirits") directing. Legendary ex-hitman Sakamoto bands with comrades to face off against the looming threat of assassins to secure a peaceful life with his beloved family in this long-awaited anime adaptation. Taro ends up becoming a "plus sized" man living in a small town. Many of his former rivals & partners do not believe that he has truly left the business and show up in hopes of taking him out. Barred from killing, Sakamoto must find creative ways to subdue his enemies and prevent them from bringing harm to his family, his store, and the small town he resides in.

Deadpool & Wolverine has finally hit the screens, and it has quite literally been the ultimate team-up between Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth. That said, while Reynolds’ character is the ultimate mutant who just can’t keep his profane mouth shut, it was none other than Jackman’s Logan who managed to make this impossible task possible. “The Love and Adventures of Kuroki Taro” is a weird film, even by Atg standards. It begins by showing Kuroki Taro and two other stuntmen in their line of work, even stating that “in this film, the stuntman is the star”. However, apart from these introductory scenes, the movie does not show any more behind the scenes footage in a film-about-film fashion, instead focusing on three different stories involving the titular character, and a side one, all of which are narrated by one of the initial characters, Juichi Ito. This last one is a rather personal one for Morisaki since he drew extensively from the war diary of his older brother Minato, who killed himself by harakiri the day after Japan's surrender.
