Best known on TV for his role in the sitcom Mr. Terrific (1967) in which he played
a gas station attendant who morphs into the title character, a
superhero able to fly. It only lasted one season but had a bit of cult
life.
He is well known as an acting teacher at HB Studios in New York, where
he has taught hundreds of actors.
Was a junior Phi Beta Kappa at Columbia College, a graduate of Columbia
Law School and a member of the New York Bar.
Appeared at the American Shakespeare Festivals in such plays as "Antony
and Cleopatra," "All's Well That Ends Well," "Romeo and Juliet,"
"Twelfth Night," "The Merry Wives of Windsor" and "A Midsummer Night's
Dream."
