The Real Housewives of Orange County was the first show in The Real Housewives franchise, debuting in 2006. Across 18 seasons, the Rhoc has had numerous cast mates, friends, and guests come and go. The Rhoc has also introduced audiences to various romantic partners, children, and other relatives.

None of the original members of the Rhoc's cast have lasted all 18 seasons and, during its long run, notable housewives like Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow have come and gone — only to return. For the Rhoc stars who haven't reemerged, it's natural to be curious about what happened to them after they left the show.

Vicki Gunderson was married to Don Gunvalson when she joined The Real Housewives of Orange County and had a close relationship with her son, Michael, and her daughter, Briana. Vicki and Don later divorced.

Former Real Housewives Of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson's recent appearance on Nick Viall's Viall Files podcast was largely unremarkable — until the end of the podcast, when Vicki's hot mic caught her as she continued to speak.

Vicki was one of the longest-tenured Real Housewives stars, and appeared on Rhoc for nearly 14 seasons before she was axed by Bravo in 2020, demoted to the dreaded category of "Friend."

Still, Vicki is active in the general reality TV sphere, and she comes up quite a bit — almost always in something of a negative context.

In July, Vicki was sued in what was largely described as an "elder abuse" related claim, and in early August, she indicated in a statement that she was "outraged" by the allegations.

A Los Angeles fundraiser headlined by Barack Obama raised more than $4 million for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, sources said.

The Friday evening event, at the home of James Costos and Michael Smith, is the latest in a series of recent Hollywood-centric fundraisers for the Harris Victory Fund, a joint committee which raises money for the Harris campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties.

Costos is the former U.S. ambassador to Spain under Obama and a former HBO executive. Smith is a designer whose work included the Oval Office revamp during the 44th president’s term.

Among those attending the event were Netflix’s Ted Sarandos and Nicole Avant, who was U.S. ambassador to the Bahamas under Obama; Rob Reiner; Conan O’Brien; and Jennifer Coolidge. Vanessa Williams sang a rendition of “Happy Days Are Here Again,” once the anthem of the Democratic party. Also attending: Wendy Schmidt, State Rep.

Sheryl Lee Ralph will headline a fundraiser next week for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.

The event with the actress-singer and Abbott Elementary star is billed as “An Evening with Sheryl Lee Ralph,” per an invite. The hosts of the Los Angeles event, to be held on Sept. 26, include John Gile and Jeff Valenson and David and Bob Schneiderman.

Tickets for the event start at $1,000 per person, and rise to $10,000 for cohosts. Proceeds go to the Harris Victory Fund, a joint committee of the Harris campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties.

Several days later, Harris is scheduled to headline her first Los Angeles fundraiser since announcing her campaign, at an event on Sept. 29. This evening, former President Barack Obama is appearing at a campaign reception at the home of James Costos and Michael Smith.

The September 20 reception will be hosted by James Costos, U.S. ambassador to Spain under Obama, and designer Michael Smith.

Costos and Smith have been longtime Democratic donors and hosted the first Los Angeles fundraising events for Joe Biden’s 2020 and 2024 campaigns.

Tickets to the event range from $50,000 to $250,000, per an invite obtained by Deadline. Proceeds will go to the Harris Victory Fund, the joint committee that raises for her campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties.

Harris herself is expected to headline at least one Los Angeles event before the election.

Also on the calendar: A September 26 reception for the Harris Victory Fund featuring Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump will be in Los Angeles on Friday for a round of fundraising, with the hosts yet to be disclosed for that event.

Realm, the largest independent fiction podcast network, today announced its board of advisors as well as plans to adapt several of their audio projects for television.

The board, appointed as Realm celebrated its one-year anniversary in Spring 2022, includes change makers from the entertainment, technology, and media sectors whose counsel will guide the company into the future. They are Lauren Zalaznick, who has advised Gimlet and Ira Glass’ Serial Productions; Michael Smith, NPR’s Chief Marketing Officer; Russell Binder, President of IP accelerator Striker Entertainment; and Marci Wiseman, award-winning producer and former Co-President of Blumhouse TV.

The company also announced the expansion of Realm IP into the Film/TV marketplace, formalizing deals with creatives like Wendy Calhoun (Empire), who is developing a TV adaptation of the Webby winner, If I Go Missing the Witches Did It with writer Pia Wilson; as well as executive producers Teri Weinberg and Danielle Claman Gelber (OneChicago), developing First Street, Realm’s timely Supreme Court drama; and Janet Zucker who is developing a TV adaptation of Bullet Catcher with writer Stephen Susco (The Grudge).

There will probably be spoilers. If you worry about such things on a thirty-year-old obscure Vertigo comic, well, I wonder how you manage to live in the modern world, but go off and read something else on the Internet instead.

I don’t think I read this the first time out. I think I’d remember it. But it also is very much the kind of thing I was reading in 1993: I followed nearly all of Vertigo, and was a fan of Peter Milligan’s writing. So I both don’t know how I missed it and can’t figure out how I could have read it and utterly forgotten it.

I’m talking about Enimga: The Definitive Edition , a spiffy new-ish edition of an eight-issue comics series from those heady early Vertigo days, when it was “superhero comics with adult themes” and not “HBO-style shows in comics form.
