Toured military bases in Europe in the early 1960s.

Blonde, statuesque Mexican-born nightclub singer/dancer/actress of part Spanish heritage who sang with Xavier Cugat and His Orchestra in the 1940s. Her rhythmic movements were ideally suited for rumba bands and was a specialty performer with Cugat in a couple of post-war films.

Had a keen talent for learning and singing in different languages, notably Spanish, Portuguese and Yiddish. She learned a number of these languages as a child while living in a multicultural existence with her parents in Mexico where they owned a swanky resort hotel.

Popular club singer who performed in a host of niteries both here and abroad, including Vegas (Flamingo), New York (Vagabonds) and London (Astor). Opened her own nightclub in Waikiki in the late 1950s.

Sometime recording artist: "Always and a Day" and "Besame Mucho," and the 1957 novelty song "The Saga of Elvis Presley".
