Betty White and Mickey Mantle presided over The Miss Teenage America telecast. As the winner, Carolyn co-hosted CBS's coverage of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and was a mystery guest on To Tell the Truth (1956).
Carolyn comes from a large Irish-Italian family. She has four sisters and a brother.
