If you were to go into the winsome “Suze” blind, you would be forgiven for thinking that co-directors Linsey Stewart and Dane Clark’s sincere and often very funny little gem was some overlooked Nicole Holofcener movie finally getting its due. “Suze” is blessed with the same kind of lived-in attention to detail and authentic character-based drama that makes the “Lovely & Amazing” director’s work so relatable and compulsively rewatchable. As such, this is a smart and emotionally immersive comfort movie where you get the happy with a side of sad in the same way that the messiness of our own lives often unfolds, with laughter and tears served as a pair in a package deal.
That quality permeates the film right from the opening scene, when a blissful couple’s coital moans take over the dark screen, resolving to the pained face of Susan (a brilliant Michaela Watkins), confronted...

We had the pleasure of chatting with Good Witch's Stephanie aka Kylee Evans, about her storyline on Good Witch Season 6.
During the interview, Kylee shared her thoughts on Stephanie's ex-husband and her relationship with Adam, her favorite set, and what is happening with those cheese and peanut butter crackers that Adam loves so much.
Kylee also teases a special moment from Good Witch Season 6 Episode 6, so settle back and start reading!
You've been on Good Witch since the beginning, and I just wonder, what are some of your favorite Stephanie stories?
Well, I loved, in the very beginning, the ridiculousness of my chase of Sam very back in the early days. I mean, we all knew what was going to happen, that Sam and Cassie were going to be together and it was going to be this great love story.
But that whole time of me chasing him was...

Chicago – After he reigned as the father in the classic 1979 film “Breaking Away,” actor Paul Dooley suddenly became everyone’s Dad – and by everyone that meant Molly Ringwald (“Sixteen Candles”), Julia Roberts (“Runaway Bride”) and Helen Hunt (“Mad About You”). He tells all in Part Two of a comprehensive interview.
The former “Paul Brown’ was born in West Virginia, and studied acting at West Virginia University, before heading to New York City and a new career as Paul Dooley. He did stage work, stand-up comedy and the New York City version of The Second City. He got his big break in the original stage version of “The Odd Couple” in 1965, directed by the legendary Mike Nichols. While working the stage, he appeared in a number of commercials, eventually moving to Los Angeles to “be where the action is.”

Chis Marker's Chat écoutant la musiqueThere are dog people and there are cat people, this we know, and there are even people who claim to be of both—though latent sympathies remain unspoken, like with a parent and which child is their favorite. With the Vienna Film Festival welcoming me with a tumbling collection of dog and cat short films spanning cinema's history—the Austrian Film Museum, an essential destination each year collaborating with the Viennale, is hosting a “a brief zoology of cinema” throughout the festivities—it is clear that filmmakers, too, have their preference. Silent cinema decidedly prefers the more easily trained and exhibited canine, with 1907’s surreal favorite Les chiens savants as a certain kind of cruel pinnacle. For the cats, Chris Marker, already the presiding figure over so much in 20th century art, I think we can easily claim is the cine-laureate. One need not know...

This is a teaser for Gossip Girl “Gone Maybe Gone”, the season 6 premiere, and show your favorite upper eastsiders, Blake Lively’s Serena and Leighton Meester’s Blair, smacking people person around. Style has always been something at the forefront of Gossip Girl and while I’m usually focusing on Lively or Meester, it’s hard to miss the new hair being rocked by Penn Badgley’s Dan Humphrey, which means he’s catching multiple slaps, but looking brand new doing so. Also, be on the lookout out for a new Serena interest that may be coming at us this season.
Gossip Girl returns to the CW to kick off its sixth, its final season, on Monday, October 8th.

For American Idol (TV) fans, nothing beats a concert packed with live music, psychedelic lights, and their very own Top Ten belting out the season's most popular Idol performances. This time, however, there's no judges, no tireless, never-ending commercials (except for the occasional, strategically placed plugs for Idol sponsored products), and no abbreviated songs. This year's Top Ten made Chicago their second stop in the 2012 American Idols Live! tour following an opening night in Detroit, Mi. Fresh out of rehearsals in Los Angeles, the tour is young, and the fatigue of a rigorous travel schedule and an inevitable bout or two of homesickness has not set in with it's cast. Full of excitement and anticipation, they are steadily making their way across America to meet their fans and spread some Idol love. On this occasion, three of the Idols - Colton Dixon, Joshua Ledet and Skylar Laine sat down with...

“We don’t have that many continuing stories, so we can’t reveal that much,” executive producer Jake Kasdan admitted near the start of Monday night’s New Girl panel during the annual PaleyFest in Los Angeles.
The result? An entertaining and laugh-filled panel that was much like an episode of New Girl. There was dancing (thanks, Jake Johnson!), awkward glances, a Douchebag Jar (to which Max Greenfield contributed a wad of cash), Zooey Deschanel pretending to eat like a turtle, little talk of the few overarching plots on the series, and a hearty collection of quotable moments.
