Songwriter ("Vaya Con Dios", "Pillow Talk"), composer and author,
educated at the Hollywood Conservatory. Her film career begnin 1942,
and she went on to write for television. Joining ASCAP in 1946, her
musical collaborators include Buddy Pepper and Sidney Miller and her other
popular-song compositions include "What Good Would it Do?", "It's
Christmas", "Come to Baby, Do", "Sing a Jingle", "I Can See It Your
Way", "I'm Sorry But I'm Glad", "Now You've Gone and Hurt My Southern
Pride", "That's the Way He Does It", "Ok'l, Baby, Dok'l", and "Walk It
Off".
