Steven F. Heuer has been a professional Cinematographer for 30 years. He has experience in, commercials, film, reality television, live events, music videos, network promotions, and virtual reality (VR). He has shot footage for everything from the Emmy Award winning HBO show Taxicab Confessions to the iconic cultural event the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to the very first virtual reality documentary of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance classic automobile competition. Steve has a passion for framing, lighting, specialty camera rigs - including VR and drones, and capturing live events.
Steve is also a still photographer whose career began by covering the US National Ski Championships with a shot published in Ski Magazine. Photography has illuminated his passion for seeing the world through a different lens and exploring other cultures. He has exhibited and sold his travel photography and been commissioned by AB InBev Corporation (Budweiser), Hospitality Marketing Associates, Harvard University, Columbia College - Hollywood, and Mirror Digital Inc., among other institutions and corporations. In addition to Ski Magazine, his photographs have been published in USA Today, the Press Telegram, and the Argonaut newspapers as well as being featured as a cover photo for Volleyball World Magazine among other publications.
Steve was born in Maryland and has lived in Germany and across the United States. He is a graduate of Columbia College-Hollywood film school, cum laude, and he also spent a number of years at San Diego State University in Industrial Studies. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife Sheila.
