- In the movie "Say It Isn't So (2001)", director J.B. Rogers liked Zahf's character so much that they wrote him into the script and changed his role in the film. In doing this, he used Zahf's real name in the film. That's why Heather Graham answers the phone and says: "Oh, hi Zahf!", but in the credits he's still listed as 'Asian Man'.

- In the "Office Space" episode of Fringe, Zahf Paroo wrote the parody of "Time After Time" used in the episode. The producers asked for the actors to bring in something for the audition and they liked what he created so much they actually used it in the scene.
