Tuesday, November 4Started the day Really early with packing. They're moving me to housing right next to the theater. The Pennsylvanian is a lovely place but it's a Hike and the weather is about to turn cold, so I'm really glad to be getting closer to work. After the move we did some trouble areas of the play and tightened the up considerably. Then I did an interview with Bill O'Driscoll from the City Paper. Forgot to mention, I did interviews with Sharon of the Post-Gazette and Alice Carter from the Tribune last week. Both were very enjoyable. We did a run through in the afternoon and it was the first time the first act had come together. The show is an ensemble piece so almost the entire cast is onstage all the time. This means everyone has to be on their toes All The Time or cues will be missed.

Review Dave Adamson 2 Nov 2013 - 21:10
Has Atlantis reached a turning point? Here's Dave's review of its best episode yet...
This review contains spoilers.
1.6 The Song of the Sirens
The episode starts with plenty of flesh on show… belonging to Hercules, as he wrestles The Destroyer and, despite a valiant effort, is defeated by the man mountain.
Hercules, it seems, is still smitten on Medusa, much to the concern of Jason and Pythagoras. They fear it is a foolish dream and that his heart may be broken, through no fault of the oblivious girl. As they share these fears, they are unaware that it is they who are breaking Hercules heart, as he overhears every word.
The Oracle calls upon Jason, as her dreams foretell a danger that is approaching, a woman lurking in darkness. Meanwhile, Hercules seeks freedom from his feelings, taking the advice of a trader who sends...

First Listen: Ambridge Extra, BBC Radio 4 Extra
The first voice we heard had an American accent, of the Deep South persuasion (badly affected, in the great tradition of radio drama), recanting about the importance of marriage. Listeners were promised a trip out of the safety of Ambridge – but across the Atlantic? Perhaps not though – with the clunky insertion of a date, listeners old and new know they are hearing something that happened last year: "The Wedding March" and pealing bells quieten, and with the introduction of some unfamiliar voices, we are with Alice Carter, née Aldridge, and her Southampton University friends watching the DVD of her Las Vegas wedding to Christopher Carter – a source of great controversy in Ambridge at the time.

What an episode! The popular Doctor Who spin off Torchwood made it’s triumphant return this evening on BBC One, and despite the fact it was a one hour episode it had the air of a major Hollywood picture around it.
An ordinary day becomes a world of terror as every single child in the world stops. A message is sent to all the governments of Earth: ‘We are coming’. But as a trap closes around Captain Jack, sins of the past are returning, as long-forgotten events from 1965 threaten to reveal an awful truth.
That was the synopsis to the first episode in the Torchwood five-part miniseries, which has just aired on BBC One, and it barely manages to express the sheer size of production that this new series of the popular sci-fi drama promises.
Government conspiracies, Alien Abduction and painful past memories all made up the 60 minute episode, which...

Sci-Fi fans of Britain, your wait is nearly over! With Doctor Who taking something of a hiatus over the Summer, your appetites now rely solely on the five part miniseries of the popular spin-off known as “Torchwood: Children of the Earth”.
Well thankfully the BBC have now released their schedule for week 27, and I’ll give you three guesses as to what has been found on the listings…
That’s right, Torchwood: Children of Earth Will be broadcast week commencing Saturday 4th July, meaning you only have two weeks before Captain Jack Harkness and what remains of his team combat a sinister new threat!
Check out the official BBC synopsis below, along with a fantastic new trailer And for extra suspense, I’ve thrown in the preview for the Doctor’s triumphant return coming this November…
