John Beaton was born in 1929 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, UK. He was an editor, known for In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro (1985), The Sell-Out (1976) and The Protectors (1972). He was married to Maureen Hensby. He died on 14 January 2005.
