Daniel Zirilli, a prolific director, producer and writer of action films and more than 200 music videos including the Rolling Stones’ “Voodoo Lounge,” died April 28. He was 58.

His death was announced by his family. No cause was disclosed, but an Instagram message posted by his daughter Talise Zirilli last weekend indicated that he had been missing since April 24.

Born November 13, 1965, Zirilli founded Popart Film Factory at age 24 after graduating from Pepperdine University in Malibu. In the subsequent years, he would direct and writer more than 30 feature films, most in the action and thriller genres. He was a producer on more than 85 films.

Among his most recent, Zirilli directed, produced and co-wrote Invincible, released by Lionsgate in 2022. Shot on location in Thailand, Invincible starred Johnny Strong, Marko Zaror and Michael Pare, who also appeared in Zirilli’s Hollow Point (2019) along with Luke Goss and Jay Mohr.

Kerry Washington is reconnecting with some former co-stars on the picket line.

Washington took to Instagram to share some photos from the New York headquarters of SAG-AFTRA, where she met up with fellow “Scandal” alums Tony Goldwyn and Bellamy Young.

In the photos, the actors are seen folding and packing strike t-shirts, as well as filling out picket signs; in one, Washington holds up a sign reading, “Guild vs. Evil.”

Kerry Washington posted several snapshots with her Scandal costars Tony Goldwyn and Bellamy Young on Instagram on Friday. The reunion showed them filing out picket signs in support of the strike initiated by SAG-AFTRA.

“Volunteered with some fellow @sagaftra members that I Love today,” Washington captioned an image of her holding a sign that read, “Guild vs. Evil.”

Washington played Olivia Pope for seven seasons on the ABC drama. She offered her fans a few suggestions on ways they can show their support.

“If you want to get involved, there are soooooo many ways to support this labor strike. Help spread our message, volunteer, donate what you can donate to the Emergency Financial Assistance Program, and more! I’ll link to all in my stories. Any bit helps! We’re in this together.”

Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 1 was successful for Fox, leading many to wonder if there has been news about Special Forces season 2. T-Pain said he’s going to deliver range with his upcoming covers album. After the musician won The Masked Singer in 2019, he decided to pursue a new project: a covers album, titled On Top of the Covers, which he’s set to release on March 17.

The upcoming seven-track album — that will showcase “the power of his natural voice,” per a press release — is set to feature covers of iconic songs by the likes of Sam Cooke, Sam Smith, and Black Sabbath. He’s also set to feature NandoSTL on “That’s Life” by Frank Sinatra.

Earlier this month, Uber released a 30-second preview of their Super Bowl commercial, which featured Sean Combs, aka Diddy, being asked to record a song for Uber One.

While the preview shows Diddy refusing to do a jingle, he does agree to record a hit for the company and invited the viewers to “meet me at the studio.”

With the help of Diddy, Uber did indeed deliver “one hit for Uber One” – or rather multiple versions of multiple hits for Uber One – in their Super Bowl Lvii commercial.

With throwbacks to classic songs like “This is How We Do It,” “Milkshake” and “I Love You Always Forever,” the ad shows Diddy recording in the studio with strategically placed Uber Eats deliveries, and includes cameos of artists Montell Jordan, Kelis, Donna Lewis and even “What Does the Fox Say” Norwegian comedy duo, Ylvis.

They could also be removed by force by one of the agents who will train them. The Masked Singer season 9 follows last season's incredible lineup of talent, which included runner-up Wilson Phillips (Lambs) and winner Amber Riley (Harp). The Masked Singer season 8 format consisted of three rounds in which only one contestant was voted through to the next episode. Although the format had mixed reviews from fans, it allowed for a record-breaking 22 contestants to compete during the season.

Special Forces: World's Toughest Test star Kate Gosselin opened up about being "so angry" about her early exit from the reality competition show due to a neck injury sustained during one of the challenges. The reality star hurt her neck when she and her fellow contestants were challenged to fall backward of out a helicopter into water. Kate, who is afraid of both heights and water, was terrified to complete the task. When she did, she did not land in the water head first but instead on her neck because of her panic. The medic suspected that her neck might be broken, and Kate was forced to go to the hospital, ending her time on Special Forces on day one. Thankfully, her neck was not broken, but the injury was still severe.

Singer and minister Montell Jordan gave fans an update on the hand injury that forced him to medically withdraw from Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. The "This Is How We Do It" singer completed the first two boot camp-like challenges based on actual military exercises, which included a backward dive out of a helicopter into water and crossing a 300-foot-wide canyon on a tight rope 200-feet off the ground. However, the third task caused Montell's injury. The recruits had to fight one of the DS agents who wore a red padded suit and then immediately calm themselves when told to in order to show that they had control of their emotions. During the fight, Montell sustained a suspected broken thumb and had to exit the competition.
