{TV - I have quit watching - they just don't match my zeitgeist!} TV series that are simply a case - for me at least - of not matching my viewing needs; in many instances they were programmes where it was a case of I'm-gettin'-too-old-for-this-BLEEP! ,-)
On this list are TV series I have watched once or twice, & then realised I shall NOT be watching the programme again. Yes, I have recognised that these are TV series - dramas, comedies, etc. - that I simply do NOT want to watch any further.
The programmes are not bad - & not "BLEEP!" at all! ,-) - they are just not in my sphere of interest. I feel I am just not in the programme's target audience. In some instances I have discerned that I am too old for these series to appeal to me. In other cases, there were other reasons I didn't 'take' to the programme.
I first created this list (in January 2023) after I realised that I was ceasing to watch certain series, not because they were bad as such, but because they just didn't 'speak' to me. Some of these titles are still on the list [* see below] that I had been adding them to up till January 2023. That list [*] is for TV output that is a case of:

{TV - I have quit watching - and did so quickly}
Bad (etc.) from the outset, so soon abandoned:
TV series I just HAD to stop viewing as they were either/or
(i) such rubbish (ii) so uninspiring/unappealing ! :-(

When I realised that the quantity of titles was growing on that list, I realised certain titles were in fact not! pertinent to that list.
. . . As that list is not quite the same thing as my not 'getting' a series because I am not in the target audience of a series' style.
On that list were many titles I then recognised that I felt I was just too OLD for i.e. they didn't appeal to me at the age I am now!
So I realised that I needed to create a NEW list, just for those TV series that were simply a case of: "Not For Me, Thanks!".
So I added those titles to this new list.
Then I realised that there are TV titles that I have left behind for various reasons, but reasons of much the same non-critical ilk. So I added those TV programmes to this list.
So, on this list are titles that fall into the following 3 categories:
(1) Titles that have a target audience that I don't match, e.g. I feel I am just too OLD for the programme i.e. they don't appeal to me at the age I am now.
(2) A few titles are a case of feeling that I had already seen that style of TV series too many times before, so the series wasn't creating anything new or worthwhile watching. Such as 'Murder in the First' (a US cop show of 2014-16).
(3) Some titles were even in themselves pretty good TV series; they just weren't to my taste at the time I began watching them, or I felt they just weren't worth the viewing time I'd have to put into them. Such as 'Tokyo Vice' (a US series of 2022+).
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
To quote the great 'Lethal Weapon' films (1987+) - and the oft-said phrase of 'Roger Murtaugh' (played by Danny Glover) - it's largely a case with these programmes of:
"I'm gettin' too old for this Sh*t!"
