I have actually viewed (at least once) in its entirety of seasons a number of series, which I'd like to include among the apexes of the so-called seventh art.
Some series are only 6-hour long overall. For example: Middlemarch, Mr. Bean , Wolf Hall (2015), Fawlty Towers (1975-79), The Dain Curse, Bodyguard, River, Tender Is The Night etc. Others, however, last for up to 342 hours, such as Law & Order (1990-2010) (with its 391 episodes) Perry Mason (1957-66) with 271 episodes, CSI (335 episodes) or any telenovela (containing up to 300 chapters).
