Tomato Soup & Noodles
These are the films that I watched over and over again from when I can first remember all the way to 18 or so. Most of them were watched with my Grandmother in her little apartment in the summer. We’d close the blinds, turn on the air conditioning and make a large pot of tomato soup with egg noodles added. We’d then spend all weekend watching old Hollywood epics or just favorites from over the years. Some of these films were watched with my mother as a teen. She’d let me skip school once a month for an orthodontist appointment. We’d come home and make all the foods my stepfather refused to eat, and watch our favorites all day.To this day these films will make me feel young again and forever remind me of my grandmother and mother and tomato soup and noodles.
