This is exactly what I've wanted and not gotten. After one uninspiring, cancelled fantasy series after another, i had given up on streaming services, but ended up binging this while house sitting for a friend. Amazing characters and a story told with heart. Great well rounded female characters, who are strong in their own right, instead of just making a woman play a toxic male role. Awesome bad guys who aren't just arbitrarily evil. And heroes who are less than perfect.

This is the kind of story they should be telling, and I hope to see more like this.

We can all dig holes, even in a well! But this one is a lot better than a lot of stuff that has come over the past few months. The story telling was suspenseful enough to prod you to keep going. A father's love is often the most misunderstood nuance in the world, this one dealt with it beautifully. Though he abandoned her at birth, that's emotional and strikes an instant chord. Worth a watch for sure...
